"Who are you?" He said finally breaking eye contact. "Uh, my name is Melody?"
"No, not your name. Who are you?"
I don't understand. What does he mean? Why is he saying that?
"Ahem, sorry about that. But uhh, the names Shane."
"Oh! Well it's nice to meet you Shane!"
He seemed nice, but something still didn't feel right. He seemed odd. But then, I saw something shine on his forehead. Something red. And right at that moment, i grabbed his hand, jumped up and i started floating away from Veilstone City to get to a less populated place, while still holding onto Shane's arm. After a slow 30 seconds, we arrived to route 214. I floated back to the ground in a unpopulated spot.
"What in the world are you doing?!"
I moved the hair from his forehead to see this shining red crystal. He instantly moved away trying to hide this feature. But i kept trying to move his hair to see it. "Stop it! Why are you trying to see my crys- That.... thing.."
I moved my hair that was covering my red crystal on my forehead to show my shimmering feature.
Shane was in total shock. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. "You, have it too?"
The energy I felt at this moment. It felt like we were the only two people in the world! "How did you get this crystal?" Shane asked me.
The only word i could produce was "Mesprit"
"The mythical pokémon Mesprit?" I nodded my head as i thought the same question as he asked me. How did he get this ability? My entire life, i thought nobody understood how i felt, how i lived my everyday life. But i was so wrong. This whole time, somebody has been living my life in a different body.
"So how did this happen to you, Shane?"
"It was all thanks to Azelf." Azelf? It's also part of The Lake Trio. This was just so overwhelming, yet so exciting. I've just started my adventure, so what are all the things that are yet to come. All the storms, dangers, excitements, and memories. They're all soon to be discovered.
"So, what now? Should i just leave?"
"No! You have to join my adventure! I never thought i would find someone like you in my life." I said trying to stop him from leaving.
He seemed hesitant, but happy that i asked him to join me.
"How could i say no!" I got so excited and thanked him many times for this favour.
******Rae's POV******
I can't believe i found all these good books at the library! Its incredible how Hearthome City
has a great library! But, i've been in Hearthome City for so long now, i have the urge to explore, to go on an adventure, a journey. Well, i've heard that Valor Lakefront is nice! Let's start with there!
I jump in the air to float, and off I go to Valor Lakefront! After about 10 minutes, I seem to have arrived at this hot area. I have to bring out Gallade to see this! "Look at this beautiful ocean Gallade!" I was enjoying my time until i noticed how many people are here. I hate crowded places. It makes me feel like everyone is looking at me, and that every inch of me is being judged. But suddenly, I see two people walk past me that seemed odd. But i just couldn't point it out. Nothing seemed wrong with them, but something about these people seemed different than others. I saw them walk away and as the curious person I am, i couldn't let them leave. I had to find out who these people were.
******Melody's POV******
I felt it again. That same swift of energy that sends shivers down my spine. That makes me shake at the thought of it. And some how, in all of the crowds screams, i heard footsteps. No, i felt them. But not with the ground, with my intuition. I quickly turned around to see this short boy with blond hair, yellow eyes, glasses and holding books. Blissey and Shane were confused why i stopped, but stared at this boy following us.
"Were you following us?" I say to the boy.
He was lost for words. All he could do was stutter and look around nervously.
"It's alright, im just wondering why you would follow us.." I say before I feel the same old swift of energy. Just like i did with Shane, I check his forehead to see another red crystal. But he was too scared to move. "You too?" Shane said almost screaming. We had to show this boy the gem on our face. He was shocked.
And out of the blue, he said: "You girl, you have Mesprit. And you boy, you have Azelf."
