It's Always Been Us

Chapter two

I woke up early today. I looked at the watch and it was 6.30 in the morning. I did nothing. I came downstairs and saw my parents weren't awake and that was a good thing. My younger sister, Tori, was a naughty and annoying person. She was awake. I said, "Hey Tori, good morning"
She said, " Oh god I saw your face now it's gonna be a bad day."
I said angrily, "Why on earth are you so fucking rude"
"Chill have cereals," she said
I brushed and came to eat cereals. From every box, there were new toys and I and my sister died to see what was inside. We saw it was a cute heart locket. And we figured for it. My mother said,"Good morning sweethea- okay you both are fighting again for just a small toy. Go to your rooms be ready for your school"
We got ready. We saw that locket was on my mother's neck. We looked at each other and understood no point in arguing right now. We ate our breakfast and got up on the bus. I reached school.
Olivia shouted, "RACHEL"
"Am I late again?" I asked
"NO, BUT THERE IS A BAD NEWS !" She exclaimed
"Yah go on, first Tori and then you," I said
"We won't be seated together," she said
"What? Why?" I panicked
"I don't know teachers are making us sit roll wise," she said
"Okay I guess"

I tried to search for who sat beside me. Actually, the person was late I guess. Or was she absent? Well, I was talking to Olivia and I saw Hannah was the person who sat beside me. She gave me a smile. Our first-class was maths. Turns out she too hates maths lol. I tried not to sleep. Well I overthink during classes specially maths.
"RACHEL!" the teacher shouted
"shit, yeah sir" I said
"I asked a question to you dear" he said
To be very honest, I didn't knew the answer and I looked down. Hannah showed me the answer secretly. I said, " Sir it's 4.25"
"It's right, but you should look here" he said
I apologised and sat down. I wrote on a rough paper "thank you dude" and showed to Hannah. Hannah scribbled somthing on her sheet and showed it to me. "No probs, don't think I'm a nerd kid, I was overthinking too lol". I asked " Then how did you show me the answer?". "I tried to do it really fast". I smiled
It felt nice talking to Hannah. Olivia stared at me like anything. During the break period she said,"hmm found a new bestie didn't you?"
"Shut up Hannah is just a new friend." I said
"Hmm then slowly you will forget me and make her your best friend." She said sadly
"I would never ever do that please." I said
"Yeah good, I was just teasing you." She said
The break ended.
I sat at my place, Hannah came running towards me. I was quite confused though. She asked," Man shit, I forgot to bring the chemistry book today, can we share?"
"Ofcourse" I replied
And I don't know why I blushed a little. Olivia, gave me a look and wrote something on a sheet of paper. She passed it to me. I opened it and it was written "So you got a new crush madam" I smiled for no reason. She assumed I liked Hannah but she is just my friend (maybe).
