AFTER what happened a month ago, our family declared that I am the one who will be the head instead of Adam. I don't know what he told them but I'll just let him be. He said that he loves architecture so much that he wants to focus on building firms around the world.

Unlike me, he can do what he wants. While I stand as his shadows to do things that he doesn't want to do. But I am thankful.

Ito na ang pagkakataon na maipapakita ko sa pamilya namin na mali sila ng inaakala. Wala rin silang magagawa dahil dalawa lang kami ni Adam ang nararapat sa puwesto.

"You're learning fast. I think, we need you to practice guns too." Bernardo interrupted my training as I sat down because of exhaustion.

"Long way to go. I can't even defeat you yet." Sabi ko habang hinihingal. "One month is not enough."

"But you need to atleast have a good skills before you fly back to Germany, Herzogin. They would like to see your progress in your return." Pietro handed me a bottled water. Hindi ko maiwasang mapasimangot.

"It has been a month. Chill. We have months to go before I fly back there. Let's take a vacation first, please, please?" I puckered my lips and showed them my puppy eyes. Kahit kailan naman ay gumagana 'to.

"Of course, we can have a vacation before your college life starts. I'm sure Kuya can talk to the princess since she listens to her. Right, Kuya?" Panggagatong pa ni Pietro sa ideya ko bago kami tignan ni Bernardo na para bang gusto niya kaming kutusan.

"If you will learn how to handle a gun in your stay here, then the Princess can accept your request." He said, defeated.

"I'll teach you how, Herzogin. I'm a great teacher. Promise." Pietro smiled assuringly. "You will learn in no time and," He suddenly got up and went to the table. "I know that it is early to give you a gun but it is just a small one."

Pietro opened the black case and showed me a silver gun with a customize design. It is not the usual ones because I can see the rainbowcolored reflection as he moved it slowly.

"You will have this as your practice gun. I'll give you the gun you can use after we find out which one suits you the best." Pietro added and put it again inside its case.

"Hala! Thank you so much! Lagi ninyo akong iniispoil. Kapag ako nasanay." Pagbibiro ko bago pumunta sa tabi ni Pietro. "Puwede ko bang buksan?"

"Of course, Herzogin. It's yours." He smiled.

I excitedly opened the case and I can feel that I fell in love with the gun. The details are made from solid metals. I lifted it up and an unfamiliar feeling got me.

"My heart started racing." I uttered in awe.

"You will love your training, Herzogin. That is what it means. I fell in love with guns when I was in your age too. It isn't weird. It's like the other hobbies." Sabi ni Pietro nang nakangiti.

"I can't wait to learn! I will surely love this!" I screamed and clapped my hands.

"Of course, you will. You have me as your teacher. A handsome one." He smiled cheekily.

"You're just hungry." Suddenly, Zed showed up with an apron. "Meals are ready."

"Being a cook suits you better than a bodyguard." Pietro retorted back.

"If you're just in your 20s, I would probably punch you right in the face. But I wouldn't. Your arthritis might get in the way." Zed rebutted and smirked.

Simula noong makilala nila si Bea na close kay Zed, hindi na talaga tinigilan nina Pietro at Bernardo na asaran ang isa. Naiinis pa rin daw sila na walang ginawa ni Zed noong araw na 'yon. Gayundin ang pagpapaliban sa sinasabi nilang 'responsibilidad' ni Zed.
