I picked out a white collared top pairing it with a green sweater decorated with sunflowers. I put on some white pants and black shoes. "My best friend really knows how to dress, money never wasted." Athen wore a button up shirt that matched my green but his shirt had stripes. He left the top two buttons undone and paired his top with black jeans and white shoes. He messed around with his curly hair making it fall in place.

"After this drink only three more, have fun and let's go." I chugged the cup and we went to the party. When we arrived it seemed that everyone was here and already off drunk. "Be very careful, I'm being deadass." He gave me a look and I nodded, agreeing with him.

We walked in and the first place I went to was the kitchen. I bumped into a girl and she turned around like she was about to stab me with her heel but I realized it was Lucille.

"Miles! I didn't know you'd be here." She wrapped her arms around me giving me a hug. I hugged her back. "Well it wasn't my idea but yea." We stood there talking and she gave death glares towards some of the girls walking up to me. "Don't worry I'll make sure no one messes with you."

I nodded as I saw a bright idea spark in her head as she dragged me somewhere. "Here I know what you came for. Anyways about you and Sebastian I saw yall getting freaky. I love it." My face redden at the memory of dancing on Sebastian.

"I don't know what came over me, I just really liked the song and-" I was getting nervous and she smirked. "And you like him don't you? Miles you're so cute." She slapped my arm and it hurt. "Please don't tell him or anyone please."

"Don't worry, your secret is safe with me." We smiled. I didn't realize that there was someone behind me because when she slapped me I bumped into them. "Oh I'm so sorry...Sebastian?" I turned and saw Sebastian standing there.

I didn't move until I saw Oliver hand Sebastian another cup. I looked at Oliver's outfit and it was nice, well I mean it's a party but his shirt was see-through. I couldn't even imagine myself wearing that. "Miles! Hey how are you, nice to see you here!" Oliver walked by Sebastian to give me a hug.

It caught me off guard but I eventually hugged him back. "Seb, slow down on the alcohol ok?" Lucille said towards him, while he nodded drinking from his cup. "Let's drink together Miles. CHEERS!!!" Oliver said as we clinked our cups together chugging them. He turned around to refill them again. "Here you go Miles!"

"Miles how many have you had?" I looked up at Sebastian's question. I held up two fingers and he nodded. He held up one finger basically telling me that after this the next cup is my last. I nodded chugging the cup with Oliver. "Miles, let's go dance." He dragged me away and I don't know when but the alcohol kicked in my system.

We were dancing, jumping, and singing all over the place. I felt so alive right now that I forgot whatever had my mind foggy, it was just clear. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to see Athen. "Best friend! Hey!!"

"Hey Miles and oh hi Oliver." They waved at each other and Oliver just walked off. "Did you know that Sebastian and Lucille are here to?" I was getting out of breath like I usually am whenever I drink. "She's here?! Really? I wanted to talk to her, you know she's fine as hell." Athen said and I just laughed. "I don't think she'd go for a guy like you." He handed me a bottle of water.

"That don't even matter, she's just makes me simp and be down bad." I put the cap on the water. "Well go be down bad somewhere else. Don't ruin my vibe." He walked away shrugging his shoulders. I walked over towards the couch, standing by it and watched as Athen danced with multiple girls and everyone dance and drink.

Life is feeling great right now. I saw someone next to me and I turned to see Evan. "You not drinking are you?" He laughed. "No, staying sober this time. But I can tell that clearly you aren't sober." I shook my head. "Nope just chilling right now." We were having a conversation when I felt my shoulder being pulled back. "Are you ok Miles?"

I looked up and saw Sebastian standing in front of me. Unknowingly I gave him a hug which caught him off guard. He hugged me back. "Yea I'm fine and the hug is for last night." I said and began to walk away. I was stopped by him grabbing my arm. "Stay the hell away from him. Come on Miles." He pulled me away from Evan to a spot where it was just us. "Don't walk off ok, stay near one of us at all times please." I gave him a drunk nod. "Near who?" I asked with furrowed brows. I think the juice was a stronger mixture this time, it was hitting me hard.

"Stay near either me, Athen, or Lucille." Why would I stay near him if he's with someone right now? Wouldn't that be intruding? I don't want to be rude but I agreed with him none the less. "Sure ok no problem." I smiled feeling my head spin before walking towards the kitchen.

Goodness I'm so thirsty right now

I made myself another cup and drank it slowly. I walked towards where everyone was dancing and at this point my mind was gone and everyone was dancing with me or I was dancing on them but I was living my best life. There was this one guy though who stayed with me for a while. I could tell he was more than enjoying this dance.

"You wanna take this somewhere else?" He said in my ear but I just shook my head walking off. I stood against the wall when Distraction by Kehlani came on. I'd love to dance to this song but I think I need a break. I walked over to the stairs and watched as two people started dancing on each other. After focusing my drunk eyes on them I realized it was Sebastian and Oliver. I should've looked away but I couldn't when they started making out.

It wasn't a peaceful session, it looked like it was filled with passion and lust.

Athen had walked over to me. "Dude I just talked to Lucille and she looks smoking today. What are you, oh." He looked over at what I saw. "Maybe I should just wait until I ask questions instead of assuming. Yea that's what I'll do, gotta go." I walked towards the kitchen getting what would be my fifth and sixth cup before downing them. Walking out I bumped into Lucille who saw my disheveled look.

"We should go outside for some fresh air. Help you sober up a bit." I nodded and she grabbed my hand pulling me out of the house. I guess Athen saw us because not long after he joined us.

"We both know how you feel about him and it's complicated. Now that Oliver is back things are starting to get complicated for both you and Sebastian. I already had a talk with him and just know that I know it's not easy for either of you." Athen stood beside me listening but also steading my wobbly figure.

"Do you want to hear the story from me or wait for him?" I shook my head wanting her to tell me. "Oliver and Sebastian were each other's first loves. They were dating but separated because Oliver went abroad and it's been a year since." Her words were being mixed around in my head but I kept listening. "Before Oliver left, they were practically attached at the hip."

"So are they back together now?" I asked and my words carried some weight to them. "I'm sorry I'm jumping but I just, I don't know what to think right now." She shook her head rubbing my shoulder. "They aren't dating." She said and I released a breath I was holding. Athen had explained to her how I was feeling and she nodded.

"It's ok since it's your first time," she stops, seeing something but when I turned around I didn't see anything. "but don't worry Miles, everything will be ok. Just these things need time to come clear. Don't think about it too much or at all and keep smiling bright. It looks good on you." she rubbed my shoulder making me smile.

"I'm gonna take him home, thank you Lucille." We bid our goodbyes and was on our way home.

AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Guys I'm sorry. Don't worry Miles, I'll protect you and your heart. It's all messy but don't worry you just know that you care thats all.
