"Freedom"
I grinned happily as I stepped out from the airport, "Finally I can live my life as I wish, no interference, no nothing. New York here I come".
My eyes roaming around to see the city I always craved to visit, My hairs billowing in the wind coming from the passing vehicles.
I made my way towards the road scrolling through my phone to find the number of my friend when the sound of horn caught my attention.
My eyes widened looking at the person leaning on the car, I squealed jumping happily,
"Oh my God ! Dad" I ran to him throwing myself on him and in return he wrapped his hands around me grinning happily.
"Dad I missed you so much, you have no idea how happy I am to see you after so long" I said resting my head on the shoulder of my father Liam Adams whom I was dying to meet from years.
"I missed you too baby" he said ruffling my hairs.
"But-" I raised my head from his shoulder, "how did you know I am here?" I said looking at him suspiciously.
"That's called heart to heart bond darling" he said laughing. I narrowed my eyes and pulling back from the hug I crossed my arms on my chest.
"Fine, your mom told me" he said making my eyes grow wide.
"She knew I am here, but how?" I gasped, but how? I never mentioned anything.
He chuckled in return and placed his hands on my cheeks, "She's your mom little one and she knows you more than anyone, she loves you baby".
Yanking his hands I turned around.
"Come on Dad you know better than me, she loves nobody but herself, she's nothing but a selfish women"
"My little baby, she's your mother and she loves you, only because of her one mistake you can't say things like that about her"
Getting no answer, he sighed knowing there's no use of explaining me, he turned me around and smiled, "fine let's not spoil your mood anymore, you have come to New York for the first time so let's enjoy".
I smiled back and nodded my head. We both climbed inside the car and drove off.
"God I am so excited to start a new life, hope this time everything goes well" I said leaning on his shoulder.
"Don't worry little one, everything will be fine cuz this time I am here to take care of you"
"Dad I am not little anymore, stop calling me that, I am twenty six for God's sake" I rolled my eyes .
Dad laughed in return, "Twenty six or sixty two you'll always be my little one"
"Yeah, whatever"
"So what are you planning to do next, do you wanna join the company or take some rest"
I bite my lips in nervousness, "Umm actually I have a job interview tomorrow"
"What!" He said pulling the break all of a sudden which made us jerk on our seat, "Have you gone mad"
"Dad, can you please not give me a heart attack, who stops the car like that" I said putting my hand on my chest.
"But Sofia why other company when you have your own business"
"Dad that's your business not mine" I said.
"Whatever I have is all yours and I have told you thousands of time that you have to take over the company in future so why not now?" He said starting the engine again.
