"Okay, thank you so much Lucious" she hanged the call.
"Mom seriously, I have told you thousands of time not to care for that selfish person, why don't you listen to me" I groaned sitting on the couch.
"Because it's my duty, I am his wife" she sits beside me.
"Wife whom he never notices, never ever cares, I don't even understand how was I born" I mumbled the last part to myself.
She just laughed, "Can't believe you're asking me this question, do you really wanna know how were you born-"
"Mom" I whined, "On a serious note I am damn sure he is having an affair"
"Matt, not again"
"Or else why does he hate you so much"
"Matt"
"He never even whishes you good morning, not even a smile"
"Matt"
"Here you are sacrificing your happiness for him and he, he is sleeping around with I don't know how many wo-"
"Enough" she shouts, "no more rubbish, I have told you thousands of time that he loves me, he cares for me too, it's just he is poor at expressing his feelings and don't forget you are talking about your father, who happens to be my husband and I won't tolerate any rubbish about my husband did you get that".
I roll my eyes why is she so innocent, why can't she see the real face of that man, all these years she has been sacrificing her happiness for her but he doesn't even remembers their wedding anniversary and I am sure he won't remember even this year's too.
"Answer me"
I sighed I can never make her sad.
"Alright, I won't ever say anything against him happy"

"Good" she said happily.
"Anyway forget that all I want to tell something important" I held her shoulders and turned her to me, "you know two days ago I happen to meet , no actually I saw a girl and you know what she was unbelievably beautiful".
"Really" she says excited, "who is she? Did you become friends or anything else" she raised her eyebrows.
"That's the matter mom, I just saw her once, I don't even know her name"
I place my arms on my head and rest on the couch.
"Are you serious? I really thought I was going to get a permanent daughter-in-law"
"Aren't you going too far- one sec what do you mean by permanent?"
"You know what I mean" she said, "I am tired of the news of your new girlfriends every week, why don't you just stick with someone".
"Mom, I can't live my whole life with a single girl, I don't understand how people fall in love and spend their life with just one partner" I said with my closed eyes.
"You'll understand one day" I opened my eyes to find her staring at me lovingly, "When you meet the right girl who's made for you, you'll even beg her to stay with you and you'll even get ready to fight with the whole world for her"
I laughed at her words.
"Mom that only happens in movies but it's real life"
"It happens in real life too, you'll know when you find one, anyway I am going to super market, tomorrow I am gonna make something delicious for breakfast so that you won't go college with empty stomach, so wanna come along?"
