Roman's Little Confession

Notice: I finally get to this part. Kinda frustrating because the last two I was trying to make this specific one but I decided to focus on character building in those few days. It's difficult trying to make a story immersive while keeping it on track. It's very stupid but it's addicting to do. Rant over, let's get on with the story.

It was night time and Y/N was leaning against a railing, looking at the cloudless night.

Y/N: Where are you Neo? It should have been time.

Y/N hears thumps on the roads and turns around, smiling.

Y/N: Finally you show up. Why did we need to wait at night again Neo?

Neo: *smiles* It's because it wouldn't be believed otherwise. If we did it during the day, wouldn't Roman become suspicious.

Y/N: Hmmm...I guess.

Neo: Also, I won't need to meet with the others since they would be doing who knows what.

Y/N: Huh? Who are the others?

Neo: There are others, but I don't know their names. They won't be coming for the next two days. So you need to get *throws air quotes* "Roman's Confession" so I can have you all to myself.

Y/N: *chuckles* I just hope you will be okay after finding the truth, whatever it is.

Neo: I hope so too.

Y/N: Well... *grabs a few dust crystals from pack* let's make this believable

Roman's POV

I'm studying the map of where I need to place troops and where I need to be.

Me: *mutters* Oh this is so tedious. First the Dust hijacking and we don't even need it, it's completely useless. Now this plan... *sigh* I have to continue working with these mutts.

???: *opens door* Uh...sir?

I tighten my teeth and cane.

Me: How many times do I have to tell you dogs to NOT DISTURB ME!!!

I point my cane at the door and fire a hole through it, making the mutt jump back.

Me: What Is So Important That You Need To Disturb Me! HM!?

Mutt: It-it's about that one kid you were talking about. The fox one.

I perk up and look at her directly.

Me: What about him?

Mutt: We-well...he got captured by Neo sir...he's outside and beaten badly. Honestly, *glares at me* I don't know why we help you if that is how you treat one of our brothers.

Me: You're helping me because I hate humans as much as any of you! Now...*straightens up* let's go see him shall we.

I left with the mutt following me. I go outside to see "The Ghost of Beacon" in chains, bloody and having cuts all along his body. I clasp my hands.

Me: Well well well. Nice job Neo, you brought him in.

She nods, smirking.

Me: You *points to mutt* get out of here. Now!

The mutt rolled their eyes before leaving me.

Me: *clicks tongue* Neo, can you ask one of the henchmen I bought instead of those riffraff to come visit me in the basement? I'm going to be doing something that those White Fang animals would find...disturbing.
