CHAPTER 19

ROSALINE

I entered Alessandro's apartment and it was silent , I was told to come and take care of him

After he collapsed at Pulack, the men rushed him here, and from what I heard, it was food poisoning.

I knocked the door leading to his room before walking in. Alessandro laid on his stomach and his Ieyes landed on me as I walked in

"Hey" he spoke, trying to stand up, "are you the nanny Stefano called to take care of me?" He asked

"Uhm, I guess" I answered, still standing

"Sit" he commanded, pointing to the sofa in his room

"How are you feeling?" I asked, ignoring him as I walked towards his bed

"Good" he replied and I nodded. I was about to walk away from his bed when his hands held me back

"What's wrong?" I asked

"Stay" he answered, "stay right here" he pouted

"You told me to sit over there few minutes ago" I spoke, as he turned to lay on his back, " what exactly do you..."I couldn't finish my statement as he pulled me towards him, causing me to land on him

I had tried standing up,but he held me down

"Alessandro" I whispered

"Yes" he murmured, and I sat well to look at his face. My hands moved towards his face, caressing his jaw and he leaned into my touch

"Can you lay down here with me?" He asked, creating space for me. I joined him on his bed, even though I was feeling nervous

He pulled me closer to himself, cuddling me, with my head very close to his chest. He smelled so nice. His left hand played with my long hair and his right hand rested on my waist, very close to my butt

Without thinking, I wrapped my hands around him too, creating little space between us

I heard him exhale, before he kissed me on my forehead, and I kissed him back on his jaw

"Why don't you have beards?" I asked him

" Cos I don't like it" he replied, as he kissed my jaw again, then I moved up, so we we're face to face

"So you shave it?" I asked touching his jaw as my fingers grazed his lips

" Hmm" he purred, closing his eyes. I noticed his long eyelashes which complimented his face.

He opened his eyes back before pulling my face closer to his, and smashing his lips on mine, with his hands moving around my body, before landing on my butt and giving it a tight squeeze, I gasped

His hands went lower and grabbed the back of my thighs, as he pulled me on top of him. I sat directly on his bulge, earning a soft moan from him

He stopped kissing my lips, moving his lips lower to my breast. I Rose my hips slightly before smashing it back on his erection and grinding on it, causing him to growl

He stopped peppering my chest with kissed, as he rolled us over with me beneath and him on top

"Stop playing with me" he growled as his lips found my neck, and he sucked on it making me moan. I placed my hands in his hair, bringing his lips on mine

"Alessandro, we are... Ooh", Flavio came into the room. A smug look crept on his face as he realized the position we were

With my strength, I pushed Alessandro off of me, and got down his bed as I fixed my cloth. By now, Flavio had already stepped out

"Rosal-"

"I have to go" I said, cutting him off

"Wait" he said, as he stood up from his bed and walked closer to me. He stood in front of me, then kissed me on my lips, before hugging me tightly. I hugged him back, before walking out of his room and out of his apartment

I stepped out of his apartment and the cold breeze hit me, making me shudder. I wrapped my hands around myself before walking to the car that was to drive me to my hostel

I couldn't stop thinking about Alessandro and the kiss. I was beginning to grow feelings for this man and I was scared, because I knew that, to him, I was nothing more than a play thing and when he got bored, he'll just throw me out

I got to my room and the girls greeted me

"Hey, nice mark" Mabel said

"What are you talking about?" I asked and he pointed to her neck

I checked my neck in the mirror and I spotted a red mark

Could it be a mosquito bite?

I didn't want to believe Alessandro caused that mark.

I raised my head from the pillow and saw three pair of eyes staring at me

"Talk" Min-a said

"Don't tell me y'all are already kissing each other" Skylah asked and I blushed

" Oh My Gosh" Mabel said, walking to my bed, "he gave you this hickey"

"Tell us babe" Skylah spoke again

I wasn't used to telling people about my private life, but these girls seemed like they really wanted to listen to me

"Yes, we kissed" I blurted out, and they all gasped

"Since when have you both been kissing? I thought you said he hated you?" Min-a asked, as she came to sit beside me

" Well, things change I guess" I shrugged

" Has he told you he loves you?" Skylah asked, and my heart beat fastened

No he hasn't

"Girl, don't you think that will be too fast?, professing love already" Min-a replied her, " and beside, we've not heard of Don Alessandro kissing any girl or sleeping around, Rosaline must be one special girl" she continued, as she rubbed my cheek

" Just be careful baby girl" Mabel said, " because, at he end of the everything, he is still Don Alessandro, the leader of this mafia, he can have any girl he wants with a snap of his finger" she continued, and I felt my heart sink

After the whole talk, they hugged me and reassured me that they'd always be there for me
