When I look back up I see Wukong isn't there anymore but I hear cabinets opening and closing. I walked towards the kitchen to see the monkey with so many drinks and snacks in his hands he even started to use his tail to carry stuff.

"Do you want any help with that?" I question and I walk towards him to grab the peach flavors sprite.

"Mmmmmmmmm. No," he says with no explanation as he walks back towards the couch. What on earth is he doing? I walk closely behind him before he sits everything down and grabs a blanket. He seemed to have something on his mind but I don't want to step over a boundary he has even though he has stepped over mine in real life and in my dreams. He sits on the couch and pats for me to sit next to him. I hesitate before sitting down. I just can't read this monkey and I don't like how unpredictable he is.

"So what's the plan?" I ask to make sure there is plenty of distance between us.

"We are going to watch Top Gun, the original," he says with too much excitement.

"So you've been alive for like forever and never watched Top Gun, I don't know if we can be friends," I say laughing a little.

"Well, the point is that I'm watching it now... And with you," he says that last bit a little quick while scooting closer to me. I casually move over a little more.

"It's really good and I don't mind watching it for the 100th time," I say, not wanting to look at Wukong's face. He turned off the lights leaving me in pitch blackness before the TV lit up the room.

"That was a great movie," I say as the credits started to play. Wukong didn't say anything back. My gaze looks to his side of the couch to see him sleeping. I guess I got to take a little nap before the movie started but he didn't get that chance.

"Y/N, why... I'm sorry," Wukong said while he was sleeping.

"I guess we're even now," I giggled under my breath. I stand up off the couch trying not to wake Wukong up. I'm dying of dehydration. The kitchen should have some kind of water and not just highly sugared peach-flavored drinks. How does he not get tired of the flavor of peach?

I walk out of the kitchen and see Wukong sitting up but not moving. I walked over to him and saw his eyes were red and puffy.

"What's wrong?" I ask because even though he is a pain most of the time he is still human... monkey? The point is that he still has feelings. He stares up at me with a blank expression before smiling.

"Nothings wrong Peaches, just happy you're here," he says before getting up and taking the glass of water out of my hand and drinking it. Yeah, he is not fine, I think to myself. I followed behind him as he walked. Something was clearly wrong you can even tell by the way he is walking. There isn't that little bounce to it any more than he does. I grab his shoulder and turn him to look at me.

"Don't lie to me, there is clearly something wrong with you. Was it something to do with the dream you had?" I asked. All I want is for him to talk to me, being alive for as long as he was. He definitely has some kind of trauma. Not to mention how secluded he was from the world for the past 100 years. He put his hands on my shoulders and pulled me in a hug. I stood frozen because I wasn't expecting that.

"Y/N trust me I'm okay, I would tell you if I wasn't," He whispered in my ear in a soothing voice. I relaxed my shoulders and hugged him back which only made him tighten his grip around me. His shoulders started to shudder and I could hear him trying not to cry. I pulled back so I could get a better look at his face.

"No..." he says as he pulls me back in.

"Just let me stay here... like this a little while longer, Peaches," He says.

"Okay," I responded as I let him sob into my shoulder and feel his tears soak my shirt.

Author Notes or whatever this should be called:

I don't have a schedule for when this will update because I'm always all over the place and just super busy most of the time but I will try to update as much as I can. This wasn't like the last few chapters because I decided to try and separate from anything spicy every now and then. I don't know why but this is what I felt like writing so I did. Hope you enjoyed it.
