chapter 14: don't get caught

The only thing Hunter could see as he hide behind a wall was the shadow of a strong and masculine creature.

"Who is there!?"

The footsteps were getting louder and louder.

The guard looked behind the wall and saw... nothing.

"Huh? I'm probably just imagining things."

Killua's pov:

"-well that's what I call luck.-"

I thought as I hung from the ceiling like spiderman, which I was capable of thanks to my Nen.

Since then I walked the rest of my way like spiderman which is pretty ironic, because spiderman is a hero and I am anything but that.

One problem solved, no one could see me, but there is another one.

I could tell by my surroundings that it will be really hard to reach Overhaul. I mean of course I didn't expect it to be easy or something but this whole place is a fucking labyrinth.

I already wondered earlier why you could enter that place so easily.

That was the moment when I realized.

They want you to enter this place... so that you can get tired through the maze-like corridors until your feet can't even carry you anymore. All the security guards who are distributed in the building also have strong quirks and the cameras are in almost every corner. I was impressed.

The building looked pretty normal too and it never gets loud, no hero would think that here is the biggest mafia organisation in Japan.

It would be Impossible for a Hero to get even near Overhaul.

Anyway I just had my En so it was pretty simple for me to spot Overhaul. I was able to get my bearings from the security guards too. Some were admiring him others were gossiping about him behind his back.

Things like that were all I could hear:

"When he finds out, you're dead."

"I will bring her to the boss soon. Go and tell the boss that she is ready"

"I feel sorry for her. The boss is not a villain anymore, he is the devil in person!"

"Don't say stuff like that! What if he hears us"

and bla bla bla...

By that information I could imagine how much of a tyrant Overhaul was.

However there was one thing that I didn't understand... who was this 'she'? It's like this unknown girl was the number one topic of conversation.

but I didn't care too much. instead I was interested in the gossip about 'the boss'.

I mean I like tea and this tea was freaking hot and flavourful.

I followed one of the guards, who said that he would go to the boss and soon I was infront of the door that could make my dreams come true.

Nezu's pov:

I had a plan.

Hunter is a very smart person no psychological trick worked.

"-He indeed is smart. First I thought that he was dumb because of the show off a few days ago, but now it makes sense. He wanted my attention and he wants us to be scared. He probably has a plan too. I mean he would never break into the best hero school without one.-"

As you can tell, I had much in mind.

A knock on my office door put me back to reality.

"Who is there?"

The door revealed a tired and serious looking person, Shota.

"It's break so no problem child can bother me. Could you tell me now what the fuck happened with Hunter?"

"Oh yes of course. So as I told you Hunter sneaked into UA while the entering exam. My theory is that he has a shape shifting quirk in some kind. No one recognized him and he easily sneaked in and out. There is one problem he is extremely strong and fast. So it must be an enhancing quirk too. So he at least has two. I looked for people with that kind of quirks and found plenty of them...and why didn't the gas we used work on him? Has he another one? Is he like...One for all?"

"-Why would he even flaunt those powers like that?-"

"I see. So it is hard to find him in our documents. I know, you are the smart one here and stuff, but could it be that Hunter is not a villain?"

"What exactly do you mean by that?"

"Well I asked a kid called Izuku Midorya about him it seemed like they met each other before and he told me that Hunter was nice in fact the villain motivated him to become a hero and..."

"And?" It was pretty interesting to see Shota like that. He looked sleepier than usual and more serious too.

"As he said we don't have any proof that he killed someone. He is just a kid after all..."

"He is just a kid?"

"Do you really think that?"

"Yeah... kinda"

"A kid with overwhelming quirks, too much information and not registered anywhere. A kid who is probably stronger than most of our heroes. Trust me Shota he is not 'just a kid', he is much more than that."

"..."

I took a deep breath to calm myself down.

"If this child were innocent, he would turn himself in to the police. You haven't heard the whole story about that day yet so let me explain it to you"

I began to explain what happened that day so that Shota finally accepts reality.

After the talk, Shota went back to his class and I waited for the villains visit.

Killua's pov:

I waited for the guard to exit the room again.

The guard left and I checked how many people where in this room.

Just one person, which needed to be Overhaul, who was standing in the middle of the room.

"- I guess it's show time.-"

I slapped the door open and faced the one and only boss, Overhaul.

There was something wrong tho...

"Yo I came here for a little visit and shit talk. What's up"

....he wasn't surprised at all.

"Hello Hunter."

But there is one more thing! Right now I don't really know how to continue this story. Don't take me wrong, I have two ideas and don't know which one is better, but don't worry I will definitely continue writing!♡
