Gamma radiation refers to the highest known frequency wavelength of electromagnetic radiation, which can manifest scientifically as both a wave and a particle, and a mutagenic third form known as extreme gamma. In large doses, gamma radiation is lethal to most living beings, but individuals affected by the third form are instead transformed into beings called Gamma Mutates. It also has a secondary, supernatural nature that is mostly unknown. All that is know is a theory that gamma radiation comes from the deepest lair of Hell. Little did they know, it come from below even that.

Background: Izuku is roughly 18 years old. I say roughly because his memories and past are lost. All that is really known about is that his DNA has been drastically altered by gamma radiation in his blood, so much so that he can generate gamma radiation, he has no quirk, but does have powers derived from the gamma radiation, that he is a genius and was able to complete home schooling course that make him eligible for multiple degrees, and that he has a strong desire to be a hero, not for fame or fortunate, but to save people. Though they were able to hid his quirkless nature from the world, Izuku was observant. He noticed the treatment towards the quirkless, and how bad it was. It made him mad, but he kept his cool. Little did he know, if he hadn't kept his cool, it would have been bad news for everyone involved. But now Izuku was going to U.A. collage, and would become the best hero he could be.
