      You've made quite a bit of friends in the lab and don't have any "enemies". Eleven has been with you ever since you can remember. You guys never take anything seriously.

      Almost anything is funny to you. Today was no different and the both of you were doing karaoke in the rainbow room. Dr.Brenner finally got one for you guys after completely annoying him about it. Eleven didn't sing much but would join in at random parts. She just liked listening to you and often making fun of it.

      You sang and danced to a lot of songs ranging from Can't Remember To Forget You by Shakira, Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush and Brand New City by Mitski. All the while you never seemed to noticed the person seeming quite fascinated in you. Peter found this side of you quite interesting. He can't look away nor stop smiling at the sight of you having so much fun.

      The fact is you had strong feelings for Peter but never said anything in fear he didn't feel the same. As the song ends you decide to look behind you for the first time and catch his gaze almost right away.
 
      When you hear the next song coming on you smirk towards him before turning back around. One of your favorite songs came on and it could describe your feelings pretty well and how the artist puts so much emotion into the singing. All Around Me by Flyleaf is now playing and you sing along:

You turn away from the t.v and face towards Peter and everyone else.

Now making eye contact with Peter, not breaking it at all you continue singing and pretending like your at a concert which makes Eleven laugh under her breath.

      Peter contorts his eyebrows as if confused but doesn't pull his eyes away in curiosity of what your trying to accomplish:

Right when you finish he stands up from his chair and starts clapping. Eleven starts dying of laughter and you try to hide it by looking at the ground.

      "That was quite the concert Y/N" Eleven says in a stupid voice between her laughs, which you finally break and start laughing. Seeing you laugh causes a smile to form on Peters face and you notice. You guys lock eyes again and it's like nothing else matters around you anymore.

      Continuing to smile at him, he gives you a wink and your head falls in embarrassment as your cheeks turn red. He was so charming without barely even trying.

      Once you and Eleven somewhat calm down, she goes to grab something anf Peter takes that chance to talk to you. He comes up to you quickly and you get nervous already.

      "Can I talk to you in private later Y/N?" he says with his soft voice that pulls you in almost immediately.

       "Of course Peter." saying with a quick smile. But, truth is you were terrified but also a little excited about what to come.
