In Chapter 8 of Animal Farm by George Orwelll, after a few days, the animals are still working hard, but animal's hard work didn't even exchange for enough food, they only got a fake chart of the increase of the amount of grains. Squealer does this because, he thought that after doing these, all the animals will believe that the farm is getting better and better under Napoleon's control, Napoleon's power has also become stronger than before. Not long after, Napoleon agreed to sell some timber for Frederick, Frederick asked to pay by check, but Napoleon wanted to pay by cash, and after they finished the trade, Napoleon found out that Frederick was using fake money to deal with him, soon he felt that humans cannot be trusted. Then a few days later, Frederick brought a group of people to come and destroy the windmill. The animals were all truly mad, some of the animals were injured, but Squealer told them that they had "WON".
Few days later, the pigs found out a box of wine, they started drinking and drinking, until Napoleon started to felt that he was going to died soon, so he announced that the animals who drank wine had to be death, but after a while, Napoleon become to feel better, then he change the rule to : "No animal shall drink alcohol to excess".
