Haunted by the King of Demons

Chapter 4

Dipper's POV

My eyes flutter open as a deep but gentle voice woke me up from my sleep that I desperately want to go back to. "Wake up Dipper, you need to eat," they said softly before disappearing. I sat up looking around to find the owner of the voice but saw no one. Must have been my imagination. I got up from my bed and made my way downstairs to the kitchen so I can make myself something to eat.

I can't go all day without eating anything. Once I stepped foot into the kitchen my eyes widen seeing a plate of food and a glass of water placed elegantly on the table like I was royalty. I know damn well I didn't walk my sleep-deprived ass into this kitchen and made myself something to eat.

My feet moved towards the plate with fear since I know for sure I didn't make anything to eat and I'm the only one here. When I was in front of the plate I didn't see anything unordinary which means it's safe... Hopefully. I picked up the fork with my hands and scoop up some of the food that was slightly steaming from being cooked.

"Since my dumbass is about to eat this food knowing damn well I didn't make it I hope I survive to see the next day." With that, I took a bite out of the food and chewed savoring the exploding flavors in my mouth. "Wow! This is amazing!" I exclaim sitting down on the island and continuing to eat the food.

When I was finished I put the plate in the sink and made my way to the bathroom so I can have a bath, brush my teeth then hit the hay since I have to be up at 8 am. Hopefully, my first day at work isn't bad. Luckily it's not far from here so I don't have to worry about being late especially on my first day.

But it's weird how the daycare is in the woods. I'm pretty sure you would have a daycare with people crowding the streets or something but it might be different here than in California. After I did my night routine I went in the closer and saw a silk button-up. When I have free time I need to look through this closet. I don't remember seeing this in the closet.

I shrugged it off and put it on not putting pants on since I will be hot under the covers. Walking toward my bed I checked to see if my alarm was set then tuck myself under the covers falling asleep.

A loud blaring sound went off near my ear waking me up instantly in a panic. I look down at my phone to see it's the alarm going off. Why in the fucking hell did I put my phone near my ear. I swear I thought I was going to be deaf with how loud the alarm was. With a tired groan, I got up from my heaven of a bed and did my morning routine including getting in the shower.

After that, I got dressed in casual clothes and went down to make something that will keep me full for a while since I don't know when I'll have a break to myself. When I finished eating my breakfast I got up and grabbed everything that I need before leaving the house. Of course not forget to lock the door. I climbed into the car and then drove to the daycare using google maps.
