Dipper's POV

Ever since then, nothing has been the same for me. Bill will activate the tattoo making it painful for me to the point I'm on the floor screaming in pain. He would haunt me with nightmares. Luckily not every night. When I'm in the house, he would randomly grab me and shove me against the wall. Sometimes with his pitch-black eyes and sometimes with his golden eyes.

He would make his tongue longer and shove it down my throat inserting some type of liquid down my throat like before. Soon finding out that the liquid makes the tattoo stronger. I still went to work but I was more tired than anything it was my escape and I got to see baby Jace so it was a bonus for me. I stop seeing Leo since he said he was moving back to Washington to see his wife.

I felt betrayed by the fact that he had someone and simply just played with my feelings. I called off of work that week, not caring what Bill did to me anymore. It wasn't like he was going to stop anyways. I already begged him to stop but he never listens to me.

Luckily I found a house and had enough money. The problem is how am I gonna pack everything and leave without Bill messing with my car. It's like he's watching me 24/7 and it's very uncomfortable and irritating. Not even a day later the house was sold. I couldn't take it anymore. No matter what I do nothing ever works out.

I gave up looking for a house. I gave up trying to escape from Bill. I gave up fighting back when he pins me to walls or any furniture in the house. I see no point anymore.

A sound of an alarm woke me up for the millionth time. Today was Thursday and I got to watch little Jace again. It's kinda funny how he is the only one keeping me sane right now. Without a second thought, I got up and dressed in casual clothes, did my morning routine then ate breakfast.

Before I walked out the door my phone rang announcing that someone is calling me. Grabbing my phone out of my pocket, I looked at the ID and then answered the phone. "Hey Pyronica, what's up?" It was quiet for a while until she spoke up. "Dipper... I'm sorry to say but you're fired..." Those words echoed in my head. I'm... fired? "W-Wait why?!"

It was quiet again. "Pyronica. What did I do? I can fix it just please don't fire me!" I couldn't help but beg. I enjoy taking care of Jace while Mrs. Brown is at work and I was able to escape all my problems. "The building is getting shut down permanently. Mr. Owen will give you your last paycheck sometime this week. I'm sorry Dipper and I hope you have a good day,"

Without letting me talk she hung up. I screamed as I throw my phone against the wall shattering the screen. Why couldn't things work out for me? Haven't I been through enough already? I grabbed the plate that was in the drying rack and threw it not caring where. I threw anything I could find until my body was exhausted.

My body slid down the walls surrounded by broken glass as I continue to cry my heart out. The tears felt like they were never-ending. I cried and cried for so long that I didn't even know I passed out.
