TW: Eating disorder

Darryls POV:

I readied myself to tell Skeppy about everything, my past, my family, everything I'm facing. I took a deep breathe and started. I was more calmer when telling Skeppy, it's like lifting up the boulder of pressure and secrets from my chest. I sat there for about an hour, telling Skeppy about what I've been through, he was very quiet when listening, apart from making a few nasty comments about my father. (A/N: I didn't write about what Darryl said cuz Vincent had explained in one of the previous chapter) At about 3am, we finished talking and Skeppy had drifted off to sleep with his arms around me. I smiled at him and kissed his forehead, before falling to sleep to Skeppy's warmth.

I woke up the next thing with Skeppy still next to me, snoring softly. I gently shook him awake, to which I gained a grunt as a reply. I giggled and dragged Skeppy out of bed. We got ready, I kept Skeppy's hoodie on, it felt safe, and it smelled just like Skeppy. We went to school quite early, the halls were empty except a janitor cleaning with her mop.

"Come on!" I laughed, pulled Zak by the sleeves and heading to the first class of the day - History.

We took our seats at the back. I started to scribbling violently on my notebook, today is the due date of the History project, and we were missing a report. Since Skeppy had finished the researching and the grouping of information, and Heather had never bothered to do any work, I decided to write the report. As I finalized the report, students began to pour in and filled the empty seats one by one, two of the students caught my eye.

Heather had straightened her hair and braided it, a baby blue bow to top it off, not to mention a natural makeup look. She strutted over to me and Skeppy with her flat blue shoes, shoving the boy next to me away from the desk. "Hi Darryl," she giggled, leaning on the panel of the chair.

I replied her a hello as my gaze fell onto another person - Vincent. I haven't talked to him since our meetup at our treehouse. The treehouse was located on a big birch tree near his house, we built it when we were still kids. A lump formed in my throat, I thought about what Vincent told me about Skeppy.

*Flashback starts*

"Darryl, I'm going to put it to you straight, Zak isn't your friend."

I laughed," Of course he isn't, he's my lover. We confessed."

Vincent gave me a look that can be spoken as "As if". He shook his head and helped me up the treehouse. We entered the small space through the little doorway. I swept my fingers across the carvings of our names on the doorway, smiling at the wobbly words. It was so much easier back then, my family un-torn and there was only pure happiness.

I plopped onto the wooden floor and took a cookie from our cookie jar on a small table in the center of the room. As I munched on it, I felt the sudden urge of spitting it out. I coughed and spluttered, the cookie crumbles spraying everywhere. I quickly swallowed it and folding my arms, waiting patiently for Vincent to speak.

Vincent put on a serious look and spoke in a soft voice, his french accent more unnoticeable then ever, " Darryl, I bumped into Zelkam and a few others. They were talking about some dare that is related to you. Stay away from Zak Ahmed, he's really bad news."
