Y/n was always in love with JJ ever since she first met him when they were kids. He always flirted with her but he flirted with everyone so she never knew if he liked her back.

Y/n sat by the fire at a keggar. Cup in hand. Somebody came to sit next to her. Pope. Y/n and Pope had been best friends since they were in 1st grade.
"Gosh I swear to god if Kie talks one more time about how I ran over that turtle that time on the boat I'm gonna lose my mind!" Pope yells. Y/n laughs.
"You know kie, always busy saving the ocean." Y/n says smiling. Then they're heard shouting.
"Beat his ass, John B!" Somebody yells.
"Get him, Topper!"
"You got this!"
Y/n ran over and stood next to JJ. "Holy shit! Beat his ass JB! You got this!"
The two boys continued to fight.
Then it got too far when Topper started drowning him. "What the fuck!" Kie yells.
"Get the hell off him!" Y/n yells. JJ is just staring with anger. "JJ do something, please!" Y/n yelled as tears prickle in her eyes.
JJ looked back at them for a second staring into Y/n fearful eyes and something came over him. He had to save his friend.
Next thing you knew he was behind topper. "Yeah you know what that is." JJ tells topper as topper freezes realizing what is being held to his head. A gun.
"JJ!" Kie yells. "Holy shit!" Y/n yells. Topper backs off.
"All right everyone listen up! Get the hell off our side of the island!" JJ yells as he shoots the gun in the air.
We all run to John B going to assist him. "God dammit John B he could've killed you!" Y/n yells while hugging John B. Kie and Pope go over to John B and help him up and assist him.
Y/n sees JJ staring at the ground and walks over. "Hey, are you okay?" Y/n asks. "No man, I'm sick of this shit. I'm sick of us being walked all over by those god damn kooks!" He yells. "It's gonna be okay. John B is okay J." Y/n says as she hugs him tightly. He hugs her back.
"Let's go before cops show up." Pope says. They all nod and walk back.

Y/n gets home with JJ and Kie. "My rides here. I'll catch up with you guys tomorrow." Kie says walking out.
"That was so crazy." Y/n says letting her head fall into her arms.
"I'm sorry I pulled the gun. I just didn't know what to do. I didn't want him to kill John B and you just looked so damn scared. I had to do something-" JJ begins.
"Shh, J, it's fine just relax." Y/n says cupping his face. "Thank you." JJ tells them. Y/n nods and smiles at him. "I will always be here for you. No matter what ever happens, JJ."
He stares at her. "I love you." He tells her. "I love you too, J." She replies. "No I mean love love like not just friends. Your always there for me and your the only one who i truly trust and you always care for me. I'm sorry if I've ever done anything to you to make you think I didn't. I've been in love with you for a while. I just couldn't take the feeling I had when I saw your face when John B was getting drowned." He tells Y/n.
They smiles. "I love you, JJ. I have since we met. I thought it was obvious." They says with a laugh at the end. JJ cups her face and kisses her.
Just then the door opens. "Holy shit! I just forgot my phone...countinue.." Kie says walking in and out super fast after grabbing her phone.
They laugh.
