Because no one else has ever roomed with the opposite sex.
He falls for her and makes her pretend that they are dating, for her rich mum/dad.
Then he will open up to her.
He is going to get hurt because he she didn't open up to him straight away.
They have a fight, one of them storms out.
She realises she loves him.
When he comes back she opens up.
She cries, he kisses her.
They start dating.
In the epilogue they get married and have offsprings.
What a great novel!
WAIT! They forgot to go to class! Oooops...And guess what? They still have all these brilliant qualifications. Wow...That happens.
