Chapter 5: Brother

Leonor is such a cute girl, she told me lots of stories about her family, her mother died when she was three and she has only one brother his name is Mason, they are Russian family. She told me that her brother is going to come to pick her up from school today, and she is gonna introduce him to me.

"Hey, Adelina." she says cheerfully.

"Hey, Leonor." I jump in joy when my eyes spot her.

"I told Mason about you, and he is so excited to meet you....I think. Look, he is so cold and barely shows any emotions, but I bet you'll like him." I smile wildly.

Yayy more friends.

We keep talking for a good fifteen minutes, and then the bell rings.

We go to our class, where troubles come searching for me.

"The girl who hurt James is here." One from James friends says.

"Shut up, you know what your friend did." Leonor's voice brakes everyone's glares.

Wow, now I have 3 protective brothers and a protective friend.

"Miss Fernandez, please, you and Miss Bernhard sit down." The professor orders Leonor and me politely, and Leonor nods.

The professor ordered us politely even though she told them to shut up?

"Your surname is Fernandez?" She gives me a light nod with a little smile on her face.

The class finally finished and I had a problem with staying focused during the class, it was so boring.

We finished our class and finally it's time for the break. We sat and kept talking.

"So..... Do you have a lover?" My eyes widens and I look at her in an amazed face. Why would anyone like me?. I don't even have friends....except Leonor, of course.

"No, and you?"

"No, but I once had a crush on someone."

"And what happened?"

"I got older and became more mature," she sighs "and noticed that he is not suitable for me, so i let him go" I pat her back and give her a proud face, she is so mature to do such an action and feel proud...I think?! I haven't gone through something like this before.

We remained quiet for a while.

"Look who is coming." Her voice brakes the silence. She is pointing at James. "This boy is so annoying." I admit as he comes closer.

"Hi Leonor, why are you sitting with this loser?" Excuse me!! You are the one who got punched by ME!!!

"Go away, James..... or do you want her to punch you again?" Her sarcastic voice blows my mind.....and as well to James. I notice she is trying too hard to keep her smirk from showing.

"She.. hit me?" He begins to laugh, which makes both me and Leonor mad.

I stand up; furious, by Leonor's side.

Leonor taps my shoulder and points to my phone, which is ringing on the bench.

I take it and it is Ivan.

"Hi."

"Hi Adelina, we are at your school."

"Why? What happened?" I didn't make anything wrong. Why would they be here?

"No, no, we just came to give you a little visit. Oh, we met a nice guy, he and Andreas became friends." I breathe a sigh of relief. "His name is -"

He can't even finish his sentence, and James raises his punch towards me and snaps the phone away from me; the phone now is behind his leg. he leans down to get it.
