Chapter 6: Nightmare

We are in the park, mom and dad are sitting together on a beach, and we are playing soccer. Diego, Ivan, Hugo, and Andreas are team, and I and Isabella are team.

"Boys vs. girls," Isabella declares.

"You are going to lose." Diego says.

"We'll see." I reply.

We don't know how to play soccer, so our team lost....as usual. It was an unfair game cause they were four while we were two, and we started another game with the same teams.

While we are playing Diego falls, mom goes running to him while dad goes to the rest of the boys.

Now I am in the middle while mom is standing with Diego in front of me, and dad is standing with the boys and Isabella behind me.

I press a foot forward to go to mom and Diago, and tears fill my eyes.

"Mom, Diego." A sop escapes my lips. "I missed you." Mom openes her arms to me.

"Addy, I missed you too." I smile wildly as I hear his voice.

I have been playing with Diego and sitting with mom, and just now I notice them!!!

The floor cracks under my feet as I go closer to them, and the cracks keep going till it reaches under mom and Diago's feet. I begin to run towards them, I want to pull them into my arms, but as I get closer, Diego begins to fade away in the air.

"Carmen, run!" Dad yells at mom, begging her to run.

"Bye, Daniel. I love you all, kids." Mom's eyes went red, and tears rolls over her cheeks as she was speaking to dad and then us. I keep stepping forward.

I stop, I don't want them to fade away, but I can't manage to stop it. Both of mom and Diego fade away, I fall to the ground and scream.

It was a nightmare, my eyes are filled with salty water now.

"Lina, what's wrong?" Hugo brakes into my room cause of my scream. He comes near me and places his hands on my cheeks, wiping my tears.

"What's wrong, Adell?" I try to calm myself down.

"I-I killed them. It is my fault." I put my hands on my mouth and keep sopping.

"Hey, hey, it's a nightmare. It's okay, Adelina." He grabs me into his hug and rubs my back.

I nod. I finally managed to collect myself, I thought I got over these nightmares, but I guess not yet.

"You okay now?" I nod and raise my thumb.

I want to get out of here, I still have four hours to get dressed for school. I am going to get a short nap.

I got dressed after i woke up from the nap and on my way downstairs, to get out of here.

On my way to school I meet Leonor and we keep talking till we reach the school.

"Wanna play a game?" Leonor asks me. she looks so excited, I don't want to destroy her excitement. So I give her a nod.

"Truth or dare?" I keep jumping in excitement, and she laughs.

"I love this game. Let's play." I say, pulling her down on the bench.

"Okay, let's start.... truth or dare?"

"Truth"

"Mmmmm, let me think... Mmm about your name, who chose it for you?" She says, not satisfied with the question. "I know it's a stupid question, but this is what I came up with." She shrugs her shoulders.
