5.Just a scratch

''What we going to do.Let it stay in. If we need gun I will go in and in moment take it. Agree?'' Good plan really.

''Sounds like good plan. 'I answer.

''I don't think so. Who will you shoot?'' I asked and take phone from Liana's hands. I am scared but, my father always says, don't show that you are afraid in front of enemy. And I think that Michael understand what am I doing.beacuse I have no idea why I irritate him.

''What? I can shoot anyone. I know which daughter you are. You are Edward Silverton's daughter. Aren't you?'' And my dad really is Edward, how he knows. II stand next to Liana watching in men the in my brother. I'm in a miracle.

''Yes, how do you know that?''

''That is not matter. Now go away from car and step where I can see you.'' I am turning on security alarm, and then I am going away from car, walking behind Liana. He is mad now. But he knows who I am that is not good.

''And what ...''-

''Shut up Melanie! If you want we will leave.'' Michael yelled but he is not scared. I saw the gun behind him in his hands.

''You saw me so! '' He pulled the gun and shoots the man next to Michael and Scott. I think he wanted to scare us and he did. I jumped in place what saved my life this time. I jump. And in the moment of my jump, he is trying to shoot me so the bullet is going next to my stomach and just scratch me. I scream, what scare my brother, Liana and Scott. I bit my lip in pain.

''Mel you are good?''Scott asked me.

''Yes just scratch. I hope.'' I answer with big pain in stomach.

They stand up from man and careful walk to us. Michael hugged me.His warm arms are hugging my shoulders.

''Move again and you will end like this man.'' He says. '' Now move far from car and show me your hands! Now!!'' Michael still holds the gun. He put it in his back pocket and shows me with hands to take it when time comes. He looks away to empty road. My chance. I pull the gun out of my pocket and pulled the trigger. I shoot him in shoulder then I am pulling trigger again and this time I shoot him in the side of the stomach. Michael runs toward him and start fight, Scott join him, while Liana is calling the police.

''Boys! Boys! You will kill him. Michael stop!!'' I am yelling but Scott and Michael aren't stopping with fight. The man on the floor is already death .Michael is stoping.He is getting up and taking the rope from car. He is teeing attacker to a tree by the roadside. I am standing, and it is killing me that I can't help. The night is warm again. Everything in from of me is just dark road without any car only we and two strange mans.

''Police is coming. You are good Mel?'' Liana asked with a worried face. I am far from good. I am scared and hurt and who knows what else, but everyone are so instead of complaining, I answer:

'' I am fine, really. But I think that police is already on way to us.''

''How? No one called them, and Liana called them moment before.'' Scott says with truly interest.

''I turn the security alarm when I left the car,so...''-The police sirens broke my words.

''Police, hands up so I can see them and drop your weapon o floor.'' The sheriff is walking out of car.

''Wait!! We called you. We were attacked.''Michael said.

''I am sorry, you are Edward's son?''Sheriff White ask Michael.
