The bell rang signaling for the beginning of our math class.

Everyone was happily chatting with his or her friends expressing their joy and excitement for the upcoming holidays, yes, it was indeed almost Christmas, and here I am stressing myself copying my friend Yuqi's math homework, as quickly I can do.

Closing the cap of my pen and my notebook as well, I let out a sigh. "Finally I'm done," I returned Yuqi's homework and thanked her.

I brought out my math book and calculator from my bag and placed it neatly on my desk.

Since the teacher hasn't arrived yet and the class became noisier than expected. My seatmates were on the other side of the room chatting with their friends leaving me all alone in my seat.

I turned around and placed my elbows on the desk behind me, facing my friend Seulgi with an annoyed look plastered on my face. She didn't notice me at all for she was spacing out.

I snapped my fingers twice in front of her making her wake up from her daze. She blinked multiple at me and gave me a confused look.

"She's not talking to me, again," I said with annoyance hinted on my voice. Seulgi rolled her eyes, understanding what I meant and let out a sigh.

"This is what, the fifth time?" she asked me, becoming more irritated, by the fact, one of our friends is giving us the cold shoulder.

I nodded in reply, soon, her seatmate Sowon arrived, with a gloomy face.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked with concern. She just waved her hand dismissively clearly not wanting to talk to us and brought out her phone and earphones to listen to music.

I frown in return of her action, which was so unlike her to do. I looked back at Seulgi, and she just shrugged in return giving her some space.

As I was about to say something to her, my teacher arrived. I quickly turned around to greet her with the class.

"Good morning class, let's begin our discussion, shall we?" As soon as she said that, she started writing on the board and I, on the other hand, started to feel sleepy.

I didn't realize I fell asleep when someone flicked my forehead making me jump at my seat in surprise and also waking me up in pain. As I touch my forehead, I glared at the culprit who did it — my cousin Jun, who is also my seatmate.

Chaeyeon my other seatmate let out a small snicker while my cousin was holding back his laughter.

I rolled my eyes at the two, even though I love them, sometimes I want to kill them.

"Is there a problem there Ms. Cho- Oh my! What happened to you, dear?" She asked in concern looking at my newly redden forehead, now everyone's eyes were on me.

I just gave her a fake smile and said, "everything's all right Ms."

She nodded and continued on her lesson. I once again glared at my cousin, and he just smirked in response. Typical of him to do to annoy me.

As I sit up straight, I looked around the room. Almost everyone is asleep, and only a few were listening. My eyes stopped on a girl. She wasn't paying attention in the class, either, instead, she was writing or doodling on her journal with her earphones on.

That girl's name is Rosé, my "so-called friend" she's the girl Seulgi, and I was talking about earlier, the one who's giving us the cold shoulder.

Yes, we are friends, but for now, I don't see it that way.

After a few minutes of trying— yes trying, to listen to our teacher, the bell rang signaling for our lunchtime. I quickly packed my things and waited for my friend Seulgi as she was finishing her lecture notes as fast as she could. I looked around the class for the last time to look for someone — specifically our 'friend' Rosé but she was gone. I looked back at my friend who was probably thinking the same thing and, just shrugged her shoulders in response then, walked out of the room.
