This chapter mentions sexual violence and emotional abuse. Viewer discretion is advised.

Jimin doesn't know how it happened, doesn't know why Yoongi sits in front of him, worriedly looking at him but staying where he is. He blinks a few times, realizing that he's still on the floor.

"Have you hurt yourself?", Yoongi asks softly, eyes showing nothing but concern. Jimin shakes his head, tearing up again. "Don't cry, please.", Yoongi pleads, his heart aching when he sees the tears falling down Jimin's cheeks, staining his flawless face.

The smaller male just sniffles in response and blinks his tears away, breathing shakily. "I'm sorry for causing you all this pain. I'm so sorry.", Yoongi whispers, feeling his eyes starting to sting. It hurts so much. And it's all his fault. He caused this.

After a few seconds of agonizing silence, Jimin sits up, holding onto his head. How much time has passed since then? "Do you want me to leave?", Yoongi asks quietly, awkwardly fiddling with his fingers.
Again, Jimin doesn't know what to do. It's an incredibly hard task for him to think straight.

Eventually, Jimin shakes his head, though he doesn't know if he really wants him to stay. He's scared of him, yet feels some sort of familiarity because Yoongi has become so important to him. "Do you need anything? I brought you some water.", Yoongi speaks up again, taking a glass of water in his hands and handing it over to Jimin.

"Can you stand?", Yoongi asks and Jimin shrugs softly. It feels like there's a wall between them, they've never acted this distant around each other.
Well, Jimin has never.

Worried about Jimin's silence, Yoongi takes one step closer to him, clearing his throat. "May I?", he asks in a whisper tone and Jimin looks up at him before he slowly nods, feeling too exhausted and out of it to resist. Yoongi comes closer and tenderly wraps his arms around Jimin's back and his legs, picking him up and carrying him back to bed.

"Do you need anything else? Do you want to know more? Do you want me to leave again?", Yoongi murmurs, wanting to make Jimin feel as comfortable as possible in the current situation.

Conflicted, not knowing what he wants, Jimin tears up again and avoids Yoongi's gaze. He craves comfort, a hug, but not from Yoongi. Not now. Maybe never again. He doesn't know. He doesn't know anything to be honest.

A sudden thought crosses Jimin's mind and he raises his head to look at Yoongi again. He's not surprised to find the older male still looking at him, expression soft, eyes worried. "What happened after your mother was murdered?", he asks quietly, feeling sick to his stomach for asking this question.

Yoongi sighs in relief, glad that Jimin's willing to just listen. He was afraid that he would leave every second now, cutting all ties with him. It would be reasonable if he did, but Yoongi is so grateful that he continues to stay here for now. And he's ready to do everything if it helps Jimin and keeps him here.

He runs a hand through his hair and sighs deeply. "I just turned fourteen if I remember correctly. After my mother's death, I caused a lot of trouble, because I was never able to grieve or express my emotions, so my father bought me this mansion. In his eyes, emotions and feelings are sins and I wasn't allowed to express them. I still have problems with that, even after all this time. It's just the way I've been raised."

Jimin breathes out shakily, fiddling with the sleeves of his sweater. He feels sick to his stomach. Again.

"Father abandoned me here and told a few people he barely knew to watch over me. Of course, all they did was abuse me, I think I still have scars from back then.", Yoongi continues, lifting his sweater to reveal scars across his back. "It's from a whip."
