This is the story about how Tyler basically moved into her father's house.

Some would say that everyone's life is perfect, some would say that their life isn't, then you got the people who say their life is in between perfect and not. This is Tyler's life then. Her life wasn't always that perfect, but it wasn't the worst thing ever. She more so enjoyed her life with her Mom, because it was her mom she could talk about whatever she had on her mind, as she thought that her mother understood her life.
Then, you got Frank Alder a man who fixes boats on a dock, and he's not that bad but he's not the worst person ever. Sorta right in between, the reason for that is because him and Tyler haven't had a decent father-daughter relationship, since....well never actually. She sorta tries to forget that she even has a father as he didn't want to spend time with her at all. That's why she was always living with her mother in sunny Los Angeles.
Then tragedy struck when Wren was picking up Tyler from school, as the two of them were going to have a mother-daughter day after school. As they were on their way, a car hit the two of them, on Wren's side and her mother was still alive but at the same time not. It was traumatic for Tyler because that was the last time that she was going to see her mother.
Her mother's death was in result of a hit-and-run, and they never found the driver that caused her mother's death, so in return Tyler had to pack up her things and went to Florida to live with her father. That's when her life got even more interesting, but Tyler knew that she wasn't going to like it either way. It wasn't just going to be her and her father living at his house it was going to be Frank, Tyler and a little baby named Mary.
Mary was her cousin whose mother committed suicide when Mary was a baby. So that also left Mary to be in the care of Frank Alder, and his daughter Tyler. Tyler was only seven and a half when her mother got killed in a car accident.
When she moved to FL with her father she had high expectations as the only time that she'll be in a car was if she absolutely had to but if she had a choice she wouldn't go. Frank understood why because of what happened to Wren.
