Third Person's POV
Frank and his lawyer Greg Cullen occupies one table, as Tyler wears ripped jeans and a black t-shirt, while Evelyn and her lawyer Aubry Stokes, sit at the other. Tyler is with Jasmine, Jaxon, and Jeremy.
The black woman named Wanda Hardaway is the bailiff, as she's holding paperwork in folders. Amanda Dobson has platinum blonde hair as she walks with the aid of a cane. She's Florida's Child Services. On the bench, the honorable Edward Nichols which is a former Marine, with jet black hair. He looks like Snape from Harry Potter, as Amanda looks like Draco but an old female version with wrinkles. Tyler saw that Roberta is seated in the spectator section.
"Wanda, is that the McMichael file? No? Will you? Thank you?" Edward Nichols said as Twilight comes to mind when she thinks of Edward, and also Edward Scissorhands, aka Johnny Depp. Ed Cullen which is what Tyler has been calling him, in her head continues. "Okay, Adler...grandmother, and uncle. Really? Are you sure you folks don't want to go out in the hall and settle this?" Edward Cullen says (as his real name is Edward Nichols) as he looks up to Frank and Evelyn before chuckling and continuing this pointless thing. "No? That's a shame? Mister Cullen, you're for the uncle?"
Cullen stands, as Greg Cullen which doesn't remind Tyler of anyone that comes to mind, besides Harry Potter and Twilight characters. "Yes sir, your honor." Greg Cullen said.
"We're going to have to start charging your room and board. And I see Mister Stokes. You're on the wrong side of the bay, aren't you?" Edward Cullen said.
"Very happy to be here, your honor." Aubry Stokes said as Tyler rolled her eyes as Jeremy is holding her right hand and Jaxon is holding her other hand.
"For the record, Mrs. Dobson is representing the State of Florida Child Welfare Department. Well, what's your side of it?" Edward Cullen said.
"Your honor, my client, Mrs. Adler, is the maternal grandmother of the child. Her daughter, the girl's mother, was a troubled woman, and seven years ago took her own life. It was at this time that Mister Alder preemptively and illegally took custody of the girl and spirited her across state lines for the purpose of denying my client custody. There is evidence that the child is currently living in an unclean and unwholesome conditions. We petition the court to grant my client full custody of the child, so that she can return her to the state of Massachusetts and give her the care to which she is entitled." Aubry Stokes said as Tyler gave her grandmother's lawyer a shocked look as she couldn't believe the words that she's hearing.
Tyler glances at Roberta as she looks worried as she is half tempted of walking over to her, but she's too far away, and she's afraid that she'll miss something. So she decides not to get up. Strokes sits back down, as Ed Cullen looked at Greg Cullen who stands.
"My client took a toddler under his wing for one reason only: it was his sister's desire that he do so. My client has been her constant care-giver, and your honor, as to the living conditions, I've been in this home. It's fine. I mean, if we adopt standards based on your northern friends' aversion to Palmetto bugs, we won't have a child left south of Tallahassee." Greg Cullen says as he sits back down.
Edward Cullen looks at Frank and Evelyn. "Okay, last call before this starts costing a lot more money and a pretty penny."
"My client will need reasonable access to the child for psychological evaluation, and visitation." Aubry Stokes says as Tyler harshly squeezes both Jeremy and Jaxon's hand as they can tell that she's getting pissed off as she's about ready to snap.
