Scarlet Witch: Chthon's Revenge

Part IV : Knights of Wundagore

Wanda's speech is muffled. She feels utterly betrayed by Simon. Agatha is unusually giddy, trying to figure out what to do next under her Invisibility spell.

"Ms. Maximoff, let me introduce you to my troupe of villains. The Knights of Wundagore." Wyndham says maniacally. Suddenly five odd figures appeared infront of Wanda. She observed those figures and saw Simon was one of them.

"Simon Williams, The Wonder Man"
"Bova Ayrshire, Hellcow"
"Martin Preston, Master Pandemonium"
"The Chthonic Servant, The N'Garai"
"Eric Williams, The Grim Reaper"

"Quite the collection, amirite?" Wyndham said mockingly. All those hellish figures walked towards Maximoff and circled her. They held their hands together and started performing a ritual.

"Well, see you on the other side! If you pass the trial of Chthon that is. Good Luck." Wyndham said in a serious tone. Wanda was suddenly teleported atop the ruins of the Darkhold Castle. The Knights are stood in a straight line infront of Wanda.

"You don't stand a chance against us." The Grim Reaper called out. He wore a demonic purple helmut on his head.

"We are five and you are mere.. well you." Master Pandemonium called out. He was very muscular. He reminded Wanda of Hulk but less green. He also wore a set of horns. Wanda then examined the N'Garai dude and he looked exactly like those creatures in the Darkhold Castle.

"Why are we here at the Castle's ruins?" Wanda called out.

"Chthon predicted that you would destroy the holy Darque Hold. And when you would, he would reclaim you as his 'shell' to rule the world." The Hellcow said. She had a feminine and motherly voice. Wanda suspected that these Knights were under some twisted mind-control.

"Okayy." Wanda said

"Agatha! Ya there? I kinda need help." Wanda whispered to herself. There was no response. Agatha was still inside the Citadel of Science. She was panicking and trying to figure out where the 'High Evolutionary' sent Wanda.

"No? Well ok I guess I'll have to handle this sitch-i-ation by myself!"

"You can not win against us. Surrender. We are the Knights of Wundagore." They all said in a chorus.

"Well then I am The Scarlet Witch."

As she said this, Wanda started to create a big sphere of magic and through it towards the Knights. She flew up and then started to individually attack each one of them. She found it especially hard to attack Simon Williams. Then, Bova summoned a big bow and several enchanted arrows, which glowed bright yellow, and aimed all of them towards Wanda. Wanda caught all of those arrows and disintegrated them. Then the Grim Reaper pulled out his huge scythe and stomped it on the ground, which made him fly. He then pursued Wanda in combat in mid air. Wanda clearly having superiority in her combat skills, overpowered him and threw him back to the ground. Wanda then picked up the N'Garai and threw him over the mountain and the being landed right at the center of Dragorin.

"You might have bested my fellow teammates but you will not best me you filthy whore. My mayhem will end you." Master Pandemonium says

"Oh no you didn't." Wanda is clearly angry. Then in a blink of an eye, Wanda is plunged into a very realistic dream. Something out of her fantasies. She sees herself hugging Tommy Maximoff and Billy Maximoff tightly. She sees herself cooking fresh dinner for the family. She sees herself in her dream home in Suburbia. She sees herself with Pietro Maximoff. She sees herself watching television with Pietro. She sees herself looking after her parents who are growing old. She sees herself with her friends. She sees herself with Vision. She sees herself... happy.
