Scarlet Witch: Chthon's Revenge

Part V : New Life

Wanda is suddenly plopped into a dark cellar with 6 pillars in a hexagonal formation.

"Not again." Agatha thought

The cellar is full of bookcases and shelves with arcane knowledge and artifacts. The room has a sacral aura. Many runes dot each of the walls. Mirrors were also kept positioned infront of Wanda. And the most eerie part about the room was its wall clocks, all of different shapes, sizes and aesthetics. Some moved forward, some backward, some didn't even move. There's a picture of an entity Wanda recognizes but cannot exactly pinpoint.

"I've been waiting so long to see you. There's nowhere to run now Little Miss Maximoff." Wanda is startled. She sees a brawny figure approach from the darkness. The figure has a deep voice and has very huge goat horns. He has a huge bright red cape and a dark red hood and his skin tone is very pale. His skull is well defined under the thin layer of skin.

"So you are Chthon. My forteller." Wanda says

"Indeed. I enchanted Iryna's womb when she was pregnant. With the help of the Inhuman scientist what's-his-name. I observed you in your early years, but saw no magical signature. So I assumed you to be a failed experiment. But oh was I wrong." Chthon states

"What do you want from me? I don't want to live as your fancy puppet." Wanda argues

"But you have no choice, Wanda. You are mine. You are a part of the scientist's New Men. A group of minions who serve me and... him." Chthon counters. Chthon starts whispering spells. His eyes glowed dark red. A string of Chaos magic bleeds from his furry black paws. Wanda retaliates by shielding herself with Chaos magic. From the force of Chthon's powerful magic Wanda is pushed back. Chthon breaks his spell in frustration.

"GIVE UP WITCH."

"Not so easily, you evil Shedim." Wanda smirks. Wanda waves her hand and submits to her magic. The energy blasts the whole of the castle. Wanda has laid a Hex. Wanda immediately waves her finger and stops time in her Hex. All clocks in the cellar stop.

"You think you can play these clever tricks on me?" Chthon out of nowhere transfigures the air into Captain America's Shield. It's an exact replica, with a red hue emanating from it. He throws the shield at Wanda. Wanda catches the shield and throws the shield at Chthon. Chthon is disfigured but quickly heals.

"You'll pay for that." Chthon warns and pulls out a Widow's Bite. He tries shocking Wanda but to no avail as Wanda's physiology was enhanced to superhuman levels with the help of the Darkhold. He pulls our Mjølnir and throws it at Wanda. Wanda picks it up with ease.

"I'm Worthy." She mocked as she threw the hammer back to Chthon.

"I've had enough." Wanda examines her surroundings. "Got it" she exclaims and extracts the clock's hands and siphons the mystical energy from a Temporal Dimension into the dials. She then targets Chthon and masterfully hits him. Chthon is now seriously wounded by magical energies. Wanda grabs this crucial chance and breaks the mirrors near her. She then pulverizes the glass and aims at Chthon's devilish black eyes. Chthon screams in agony.

She then summons the Daggers of Daveroth and throws them towards Chthon. But Chthon flicks his fingers and aims it back at Wanda. Wanda tries to then aim them again at Chthon. This creates a stasis of magic where both exert the same amount of force. After Chthon's hands relax a bit Wanda gains supremacy and knocks Chthon back.

"Enough." Chthon punches the atmosphere and summons an opening to the Dark Dimension. He catches Wanda off guard and she is sucked into the hostile dimension. She knows that the contructs in this dimension are 4 dimensional and uses this to her advantage. She takes apart a hypersphere and shelters herself from the vacuum of this "Hell". She creates an artificial biosphere using her reality warping powers and starts to think. She then thinks of a plan. She organizes a plan. She breaks apart the hypersphere and starts astral projecting her soul. Her astral form is now back in Chthon's lair. Wanda plucks Chthon's fur and travels back to her body. Using an advanced teleportation spell, she glides back into the earthly plane.
