jaehyun was sat on his couch, as taeyong sat on the floor, completing a lego set which jaehyun had given him, to jokingly "keep him entertained". he smiled, finding the way taeyong was concentrating so hard to be endearing and sweet in a way.
the tv was playing a show that jaehyun wanted to catch up on, but realistically, was he watching the show? taeyong's puppy-like nature was much more entertaining.
"taeyong~" jaehyun whined, grabbing a pillow and hugging it, "come sit up here with me~"
"i'm making my lego!"
smiling, jaehyun shook his head, "i'm more important than lego."
to which taeyong gave an unconvinced stare
"i'll help you with your lego later if you come sit here with me?"
"hmm... okay.." taeyong agreed, but dramatically. he huffed, making jaehyun laugh before he joined him, "any reason to why you wanted me here?"
jaehyun rolled his eyes, before laying back. he gently grabbed taeyong's waist, lifting him and holding him against his chest, "hug me."
"wha-" taeyong was taken aback, but now he was laid on the boy's chest with their legs intertwined and his heart beating out of his ribcage, "oh.. okay."
jaehyun smiled, actively feeling taeyong attempt to get comfortable and calm. it took him a while, but he eventually managed to lay in a way he was happy with.
"taeyong.."
"mm?"
"i dont hate you anymore."
taeyong giggled, making jaehyun laugh too. he tried to respond, but was giggling too much. he took a deep breath before trying again.
"i dont hate you either," he said covering his face with his hands as he laughed, "i guess that's a good thing."
jaehyun nodded, holding taeyong's hands out of his face. he smiled, wrapping his arms around him tightly, but not too tight that it was uncomfortable again.
