When Odette and Max got home, they were greeted by a complete chaos in the house. Father was mad about Billy leaving his sisters on the roadside, Susan was worrying if girls were alright. Odette calmed both of them down, explaining them leaving Billy's car to walk with Max's new friends. Luckily, dad didn't lay his hands on any of his children, quickly changing the subject to ask Max about her friends.

Father was pretty satisfied with her answer, so he didn't mind Odette walking Max to the trick-or-treating area, especially after she convinces him it would be a 'two sisters having fun' thing.

After leaving Max with her friends in some close neighborhood, Odette hurried to the party at Tina's. Crossing a road towards party place, she already saw Billy's car parked nearby with it's owner waiting by it.

Blond jogged past him, ignoring his existence, but her brother was fast to grab her wrist.

"Oddy, what was that, in the car?"

"Yeah, William, what actually was that, huh? You almost ran over some kids!"

"You know i would never-"

"No, i don't! Not anymore! You let yourself drown in anger, endangering me, Max and innocent random kids. I understand how hard it is for you, for us, but that was too much, Billy. I can't believe you."

She snapped her hand out of his grip, turning away sharply. Right by Tina's doors she stopped.

"I'll walk home."

"No way, i'm not letting you walk at-"

"Dad knows." Odette simply interrupted him, stepping inside Tina's house.

Music blasted into her ears, dozens of heated, weirdly moving bodies surrounded her. Most of them noticed the arrival of the new school's beauty, greeting her with loud shouts and chants.

Blond smiled brightly to the people talking to her, feeling like she's in the right place to be.

She immediately stared receiving drinks, which she never took, the crowd encircled her, some random girls in short skirts and with great hair curled their hands around Odette's elbows and joked around some shitty jokes.

Billy entered the party a minute later, though Odette acted like he didn't exist, and the crowd surrounding her parted, half of it following her brother.

Just a few seconds in, and they are already the main attraction.

Some boys started shouting something about a keg, and blond already knew what was coming. Billy will get drunk again.

So she just rolled her eyes, deciding to just not give a shit for a single evening, but her brother didn't let her do that. While most of the crowd moved outside to set up the keg to drink out of, Billy took the moment when he and his sister weren't in the center of attention and dragged her into the restroom, locking the door behind him.

"What are you up to again?" Blond really didn't want to deal with this now, but when she saw Billy's face she stopped. He looked worried and desperate, and that was definitely not because of the party.

"I'm sorry."

"What?"

"I'm sorry about what happened earlier today. I can't keep up if you're mad." He leaned in a bit, his hands shaking as he gestured with them.

"I'm not mad." Odette bypassed him, approaching the mirror to check her mascara. "I'm disappointed."

"Right, that makes everything much better." He shrugged, not convinced. "Look, i'm actually sorry. I wasn't going to hit the kids, i would never do that."
