I was nearing the end of my pregnancy. It was the most beautiful also painful experience that I ever had. The feeling of the baby kicking and moving around in my stomach made me smile every time.
We decided to not know the gender of the baby, we wanted a happy, healthy baby and we didn't care what gender the baby was. We picked two names for each gender however the two names we loved the most were Mira and Aiden. Those were the names we fell in love with.
Mason was like my very own personal nurse throughout my pregnancy. He would be there all the time making sure that I was okay. Mason was fully prepared for this baby.
He would always speak to the bump, whether we were sitting on the sofa or in bed. He would tell the baby how he was so excited to meet them and how happy he is because he was going to be a father.
Hearing those things made you smile every time he said them. Having a baby with the love of your life was a fantasy fulfilled.
With your due date coming soon mason was by your side 24/7. Whenever I was about to get up from where I was sitting or laying he would rush to my side to help me.
It was 23rd July 2022. I got woken up by my contractions. We arrived at the hospital at 8:10am. The doctors and nurses were very helpful by giving me an epidural and gas and air.
About 5 hours later of labour I got told by the doctors that I could push. This was the moment that me and mase had been waiting for. During pushing mason kept on giving me very encouraging words. After pushing for almost 45 minutes our baby girl was here.
Mason looked at her in amazement because of how cute she was. He was in love with her. her dark brown eyes, tiny nose and her brown her made everything you went through worth it.
Mira Caroline Mount was born.
