CHAPTER 3

You are now sitting on the deck with your two dumbass friends, being bored as hell. You had decided to talk to Killer to see if he could convince Kid on his own to let you three stay till Makizo. He wasn't entirely on board with it, but you somehow convinced him with a bit of haggling. You don't really know what you have to do for him aside from answering all his questions, but you'll figure it out.
Sam: Should I go back to the pantry cause no one is supervising me...

Caitlyn: I mean, it's the best option, but they might run out of food, which I don't really care if they knock yourself out.

Sam: SWEET! Aight, imma head out.

Nat: Kay, don't get caught.

Caitlyn: Wait, imma coming with. It's boring here.

Sam: Yay... now come on, we gotta scout for food.

Caitlyn: Yes, yes.

Nat: Have fun.

Now you're alone. How fun. You just hope they don't get caught again since that may change things, but you're not that worried now. Now the question is, what do you do?

After a couple minutes, your thoughts are interrupted by the door opening and Kid and Killer walking out still talking, or are they arguing? You can't tell since you're hanging upside down over a barrel. But then Killer approaches you and looks down at you.

Nat: What's up?

Killer: He agreed that you guys can stay, but you still have to answer my questions.

Nat: That's fine.

Killer: And your friends can't raid the pantry.
You freeze. Well, shit, they're fucked. They literally just left to go do that exact thing. What the hell do I say?

Nat: Mmm, sure.

Killer: They're doing that right now, aren't they.

Nat: You have an observation, haki. Why are you even asking when you already know.

Killer: Just confirming.

Shit. He got you with that one. Damn him and his stupidly hot mind games. Wait.. what?

You see, he's about to leave, but before he does, you grab the back of his shirt. He stops and looks back at you, wondering what you want.

Nat: Um, you said before that the ship needed repairs. What exactly happened before we got here?

He stands there looking at you. You think he's debating whether or not to say, but he then sits on a barrel next to you. Guess he's willing to tell you.

Killer: Minus the damage you and Caitlyn caused from that fall you two had. There was a seaking that attacked us before that. It caused a bit of cracking at the bottom of the ship from ramming into us.

Nat: Wait, if it's the bottom, wouldn't we be sinking right now?

Killer: Kid plugged the cracks with metal but was still going to have it properly fixed.

Nat: Ah, that makes sense. So is there any other damage-

Sam: SCREAM!!

You get cut off mid-sentence by a scream that you recognized immediately. But you also hear... Is that Kid yelling?

Killer stands up, also hearing the yelling, and walks over to the direction of where it's coming from with you following close behind him. You both make your way to the room where the yelling was and find Sam and Kid yelling at each other. And Caitlyn is in a corner, not acknowledging anything as usual.
