CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR
DEBORAH AMARILYS
I woke up with my head and nape aching. I was in a small room with only one door and one bed. This is quite depressing.
I sighed and sat on the edge of the bed. I scanned the area and notice that the acting wall was a metal. What kind of crappy shit is this?
Oh fuck, speaking of shit, I still need to get Kenji out of that torture room, he could be dead if I don't do a single thing.
I was just about to stood up when I heard a creak sound. My eyes grew wider in so much shock when I realized that the other side of the metal wall slowly opened.
“W-What the fuck?” I mumbled to myself.
I gulp hard when I saw Harvin came, with a tray full of my favorite foods, and a glass of milk.
“You still haven't eaten your breakfast, Deborah.” he stated and put the tray on top of the bed. “Dig in.” he added and walked towards the metal door, there, he rested his back and crossed his arms.
“Let me out of here.”
He didn't answered and just stared at me coldly. “Dig in, Deborah. Don't make me mad.”
“The fuck's with you, piece of shit? Why the fuck are you even here?” I asked and was about to stood up when my head ached like crazy. Luckily he managed to help me but I shove his hands away. “Don't touch me, bastard!” I shouted and sat at the bed, while breathing heavily.
“I should be the one asking you that, Deborah? What are you doing in this kind of place? You should be working on the company... or so I thought.” I heard him whispered the last statement.
“Are you one of them?” I coldly asked him, but deep inside I wanted him to say no.
“The food will get cold, hurry up and eat.” he stated and walked towards the metal door.
“Damn it! Am I a joke to you huh? If you're one of them, then how about Arvin? What the fuck are you planning huh? Answer me you fucking piece of shit!” I shouted.
He stopped walking and face me. “Arvin will go with me, I don't care... about you... anymore.” he stuttered while saying those words.
I scoff and secretly fidget my fingers. “How fucking dare you, Harvin. Arvin will go with me, I'm the mother!”
“And I'm the father! He won't fucking come with you because you barely see each other, maybe he doesn't recognize your face anymore!”
“It's because I have a job!”
“What kind of job, huh Deborah? To linger on criminals? To do crazy stuffs without us, your family, knowing? Just how stupid of you on trying to fool me, tsk!”
I didn't answered. A minute has passed and I shouted so loud because of so much frustration. “Damn you! And what about you huh? Aren't this what you call, lingering on criminals? Just what the heck are you planning huh?”
“It's none of your business Deborah.”
“It is my business! I'm still your wife.”
He stared at me dangerously before speaking. “Then kiss me again, Deborah...”
“W-What? Have you gone nuts?”
He walked towards me and gave me a smirk. “Tell me Deborah, do you still love me huh?”
I didn't answered and just stared back at his face. “It doesn't matter anymore, I already have a hunch on what's going on here, Harvin.”
“Harvin?” he asked. “It's supposed to be honey, Deborah.”
“H-Honey? You only call me Deborah—”
“My wife...” I was shocked on his next move. He freaking pulled my waist closer to him and buried his face on my neck. “I miss you so much, Arvin misses you too. Every night he'll ask me where you are, why aren't you coming home, and too many what ifs. It's too... heartbreaking, seeing our child think and talk like that... Please don't leave us... We need you.”
“D-Dummy...” was all I could say.
After that he didn't speak again. That was when I realized that he already fell asleep. Out of tiredness? What the heck?
I used the opportunity to take a sneak peak outside that small room. When I got out from it, I was welcomed with a master's bedroom, the whole room was clean and has the shade of grey and black theme. I also saw our wedding picture on the side table, and Arvin's baby pictures, luxuriously framed.
When I got out from Harvin's room, I saw a mini living room and a small kitchen. When I opened the cabinet it was full of goods, mostly ingredients for my favorite meals and Arvin's favorite snacks. Was he always buying these kind of foods every week?
I never saw a door through the main hallway. Where could be this room is? I wonder.
“I didn't gave you the permission to go outside, my wife.”
I immediately turned my head to see Harvin. He was scratching his eyes as he walked towards me.
“What are you planning to do, my wife? Planning on escaping huh?” I felt how his arms embraced my waist. He was back hugging me and it felt so nostalgic.
“I'll only say this once, my wife. I'm Lou Siév's silent executive.”
My jaw almost fell to the tiled floor when I heard what he said.
“W-What the fuck did you say?”
He didn't answered causing me to grit my teeth. “Are you fucking serious now?”
I felt him nodded on my neck as his embrace tightened. “My wife...”
“A-Ano na naman?” I stuttered.
What's wrong with me? We're on opposite parties and we shouldn't be flirting like this. Err, but he's still my husband. My god...
“You're so beautiful...”
“A-Alam ko!”
I heard him giggled. “You're so damn sexy as well.”
“Are you drunk?”
“Maybe I am.”
He made me turn to face him. I was surprised when he cupped both of my cheeks and gave me a sweet kiss on the lips. I automatically closed my eyes as I feel how soft his lips is.
“H-Harvin... We shouldn't...” I stated between my breaths.
His kisses became deep when I slightly moaned. “I don't care if you're on Bonten's side, Deborah. You're still my wife and the mother of my son.” he stated huskily and attacked my neck.
“Damn...” I whispered and sighed heavily.
You're driving me insane... Harvin.
