-Christine's POV-

"ummm well u know, cole and I are actually together". i said it, or more like it slipped out of my mouth.
"Wait what" "really" "oh...my...god" "You guys are like actually together together?"  They all replied, and Cole was the most shocked one, so i gave him the 'just go with the flow' look. He still didn't understand it, sitting with his mouth hung open and eyes wide, i mean how much more dumb can a person be?
"Well yeah, we actually wanted to tell u guys sooner but decided to wait a little". I told them and gave cole the same look as before, and this time he seems to understand it.

"Ah yeah we just thought it would be better to spill the news when we all would be together". Cole finally spoke. 

"i am so happy for u guys" My mother squeaked like a teenage girl when her best friend finally comes into a relationship.

"thanks mom". that's all i said as a waiter started placing our food on the table.

After eating me and cole excused ourselves to take a walk in the park which was just beside the building we were in.

"ok so what the hell were u thinking when you said that" cole said as he stood in front of me.

"honestly i don't know-"

"you don't know, seriously chris, that's all u have to say. do u even know how much of a wrong idea they would get by this". He snapped.
"Well atleast i did something unlike you who just sat there doing nothing". I replied in a little annoyed tone.
"Yeah whatever, you should have told me before so we could have discussed it." he said with a huff.

"will you atleast hear my plan cole"

"all of your plans are dumb and you too"

"says the one who scores less marks then me"

"well atleast i got most of the girls to swoon on me". he said with a smirk.

"oh hey i too got all the boys head over heals for me". I said with my chin up.

"not me". he smiled innocently.

"does it look like i care, cause i don't". i pointed at my face and made a poker face.

"Wow okay, now tell me what your dumb plan is" he says.
"Ok well first part of the plan is already done, which was revealing our 'fake relationship', the next part will be play and slay" i explained to him. Yeah i know the name is a little lame, maybe too lame but who cares.

"Play and slay, seriously chris, what are u? A fucking child" he chuckled.
"Well if u see it in terms of age, no and if u see it in terms of humor, yes i am a freaking kid". I joked.

"Well we will pretend that we are in a serious relationship for like 4 or 5 months". I said

"And then?" He asks curiously

"And then we will do the 'break up act' " I smiled innocently.

"And what's 'the break up act'?"

"Well we will make up a situation which leads to us breaking up and getting all depressed and whatever". I said, he still didn't understand the plan. Seriously people he's the dumb one here

"U still didn't get it, did u?" I asked tiredly, we have been walking for like 15 minutes straight now.
"Ummmm nope" he said.

"Ughhhh, we just need to make our parents think that after the break up, we both hate each other. And yeah they will be atleast be that much understanding to not get us married after that" i said in one breath.

"are u sure this is gonna work?"he asked.

"well i am 99% sure this is gonna work, and the 1% depends on our luck". the fact was that i wasn't even 1%.

"Hmmm, atleast u didn't make a dumb plan this time". He smirked.
"Hey i don't make dumb plans okay". I said in a defending tone.

"Yeah sure, remember 6th grade chris?" he laughed.

Oh yeah that was dumb i admit. Cole was failing half of the classes so i decided to help him in the exam, yeah cheat in the exam. That was the first time i ever did that, and got caught. LOL
I tried the eraser trick. I wrote the answers in a eraser and made it look like it accidently fell. I then kicked it with my foot towards cole, who was sitting behind me and pretended to pick an imaginary eraser up. And.........the examiner saw it. After that i never cheated in the test.
"It was just one time!!!!" I said a little embarrassed.

And there it goes. He started laughing, like really loud. My cheeks started to grow red now. This is what happens when i am extremely embarrassed.

"U are red like a tomato chris". He said still laughing.

"Shut up cole" i was now covering my cheeks with my hands.

"I am going inside now" i said started walking.
"Hey wait for me". Cole said, breathing heavily. Explains why. he was laughing like his life depended on it.

After we went inside we all talked for a bit and then decided to head home.

I just hope the plan works.....

-Tessa's POV-
It was 5 p.m. right now. I was coming home from school after the detention with the dickhead.
I parked my car in the driveway when my phone started ringing. It was an unknown number.
Strange. I generally got calls from chris, noah or seth. Mom too but occasionally, when she was on trips.
I picked up the call and said hello.
No answer
"Hello who is this?" I said again.
Silence.
Great, i ended the call and got out of my car.

I opened the front door and was met with silence. Usually noah was home, maybe he had basketball practice.

"U home tess?" Someone asked.
I jumped and dropped the car keys. I then realised who's voice it was. It was mom's.

"Ummm yeah, u are home early today" i said a little surprised cause she generally came home late at night.

"Oh yeah, i have to go somewhere later" she replied.
"Where?" i asked
"On dinner with a friend" she said walking towards the kitchen. Well that new.
She was always working. She became very distant. Never opening up to anyone after...... After father's death. Actually it was just me who cried my heart out after his death. Mom and Noah just had emotion less faces for months. Noah changed, mom didn't.
I guess she's finally moving on.
"Well i hope u enjoy it" i said and went to my room.

I want to be happy for her but i jist can't. I don't know why. I get that she lost the she loved, her husband, but me and noah lost both of them. Dad and mom. I wanted the pain the hate for her, the pain, the sadness to go away.

But it always stays, and u get used to it.....
