-Christine's POV-

Cole and i were currently walking down the corridor of our school that leads to the cafeteria.

"sooooooo, i am going to tell tess and the guys about us". i said.
"About us? The truth or the lie?" He asked.
"Well the lie ofcourse" i said in ' isn't it obvious' face. Cole gave me a sceptical look.
"I just don't want tessie to worry about my problems, she already has to many things going on in her life right now."
"As u wish, but don't regret it later." He said
"Eh don't worry i won't" i gave him a tight smile.

"Aren't u gonna tell your friends about us?" I asked
"I will" that's all he said before going towards his friends.

Well i guess i have to make up a situation. But how the hell i am gonna tell them that cole and i are like, TOGETHER TOGETHER. IN LOVE.
Ok Christine Miller, U CAN DO IT.
Breath in. Breath out.
I let out a sigh and walked to the table tess and the boys were seated.

"Hey guys, how's your day been so far?". I said cheerfully. Clearly not showing any signs of nervousness.
"It was fine" tess replied while putting a piece of fries in here mouth.
"Mine was bad. Cause you weren't there". Noah smirked. OH MY GOD. How am i supposed to tell them I'm in a relationship when noah is flirting like this. I probably look like a tomato right now.

"U look like a fat Tomato chris". Seth said and started laughing.
"Hey u can't say that to her!" Noah said
"Why not" seth replied in a challenging way.
"Becaus- because only i can call here that"
"Oh well. I AM gonna call her that. What are gonna do"
And then they both started fighting like kids.

"Why are u so nervous? Is there something u wanna tell us?" Tess asked me completely ignoring seth and her brother fighting. She probably noticed me fidgeting with my fingers.
"Well yeah" i scratched the back of my neck.
"What is it chris" she asked me again
"Sooooooo. COLE AND I ARE TOGETHER" i said in one breath.

I could hear the boys stopped fighting and looked at me. I could see the hurt expression on Noah face. Oh how i wish i could replace that with a smile, but my life said otherwise.

"You both are what?!". Tessa slammed the table and stood up.
"You heard that right". I said calmly
"You are joking". Noah said nervously.
"I am not". I looked down, not making any eye contact. Because if i do, i might melt in his sad expression and blurt the whole plan out.
"Great" both tess and noah said in unison and walked out of the cafeteria.

"I think they'll understand, i mean it's your choice to love someone not theirs". Seth said with a shrug.
I don't know why, but his words calmed me down a little bit.
"Well u know there's more to it" i hesitantly said.
"Please elaborate" seth raised an eyebrow and said.

I explained everything to him, my parents and cole's parents forcing us to be together, our plan, my reason not to tell tess about it, everything.

"Ummmmm that's to much to process you know" seth said with a little laugh.
"I can understand, and please don't tell anyone about this". I replied
"Yeah of course, the last thing i want is those two to worry." He assured me.
"Thanks seth" i smiled, which he returned.

-Tessa's POV-

"Sooooooo. COLE AND I ARE TOGETHER" chris said.
I couldn't really focus on what was happening around me right now. Because, MY BEST FRIEND IS IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH MY ENEMY?!?!
I mean yes i am supposed to be happy that she finally found someone, but it doesnt have to be my enemy, the one i hate to death, the one i will kill if i had a chance.

"You both are what?!". I couldn't help but shout and slam my hand on the table.
"You heard it right". She replied.
"Great".Ok i need some air, I can't stand here anymore.
I was so into my thoughts that i didn't even notice my brother storming out of the cafeteria, just like me.

We both reached the rooftop of the school.
It's kind of a hideout place for us, when everything just becomes too much of a burden, this is the place u wanna came to calm down.

"I can't believe it". Noah said.
"Yeah me neither, like ok she has a boyfriend, but can it not be cole, MY ONE AND ONLY ENEMY". I said angrily almost looking like a mentally retarded person.

"I thought she liked me" Noah finally said after a minute of silence.
He looked so hurt. How could he not feel betrayed, he has liked her like for almost 4 years now. They were always flirting. They were like couples but without the lables of 'boyfriend' and 'girlfriend'.

"I think it's better if we choose to be happy for here". I looked at him and gave him a tight smile.

I really don't want cole to be with her. Cole is like a big NO NO person for her. He is rude, arrogant, egoistic, selfish. In short, A TOTAL ASSHOLE. But it's her choice, i hate to say this but maybe she saw something good in him that we are not able to see. Besides they are childhood friends.
And yeah cole is still my enemy. Getting back to Noah, he has to maybe figure out some 'help me my crush is cheating on me' way to get her back.

"Really, really tess. You want me to be happy. Happy for what, i always thought that i had a chance with her, a chance to be with her, a chance to make her happy, a chance to love her, and now that cole has it." I could see tears forming in Noah's eyes.
"He doesn't. You can still get her back. You need to fight noah. Fight for her. Show her that u are better than him. Just fight like father always told us to. fight our way into the world."

A month?😭 Sorry i kept u all waiting for so long, i was just to busy with school 💀👍🏻
And i feel like i wrote to many convos in this chapter 👀😬.
