Hey guys !!
I hope you guys are doing well 💜
Before I update the chapter I want some of you to read that first

As you all know that it's a  Omegaverse  story  and this is my first time writing this type of story so I don't really know how it works but I am still trying and I hope you guys will understand and appreciate my efforts 🥺

The next is obviously where Jikook Mating will happen so I want you guys to know about how that shit works in Omegaverse

I just wanted to do a complete search before writing a story so I hope you'll like it 🙂

Here are how Omegaverse Marriages happen :

Mating ceremonies are different than weddings because mating is done privately and weddings are a public affair. Weddings are like the public acknowledgement part of mating, traditionally done before the actual mating ceremony, so no biting anyone yet. Traditionally the omega is the one in a dress or some kind of outfit that enunciates elegance and the promise of being fertile while the alpha is in a suit or something that shows off the idea of being well-groomed and authoritative. Betas have more freedom to pick and choose, or perhaps they have an outfit all their own.

As for vows, all the weddings I've been to the couple shares personal vows with each other and that's a matter of individuality. For professional vows and the like it probably focuses on who's taking care of who. "Do you, dom, promise to take care of sub in sickness and in health, in reason and in instinct, till death do you part?" That's probably the main saying, "in reason and in instinct," as if to say regardless of secondary gender we all have instincts and do you promise to care for me through irrational times? Then the vows are said to the sub and it's "Do you promise to care for" instead of "take care of"

I'm sure there are many unconventional weddings where the vows get changed around or other details get changed but that's some of what's expected during weddings.

And one more thing:

A traditional Alpha/Omega marriage would mainly follow the same script as traditional weddings nowadays, besides for one main difference. The Alpha would wear a tuxedo, the Omega a dress, and they'd be married by a priest. Their vows would mainly be the same, though "in rut and in heat" would be added after "in sickness and in health."The main difference would be the mating. Instead of saying "you may kiss the bride," the priest would say "you may bite your mate," and the Alpha would give the Omega the claiming bite. Historically, that would've been the end of it, as mating bites used to be seen as a way of ownership, and a self-respecting Alpha would be expected to never let themselves be owned. In modern marriages, however, it is expected for the Omega to bite the Alpha back in order to seal the bond and create interdependence in the relationship. The reason I think couples would get mated during the actual wedding and not during the wedding night/honeymoon is because of pre-marital sex. In the eyes of the Church, the marriage wouldn't be seen as legitimate until the couple was mated, as mating bites were seen as permanent (despite the fact they can be overridden with new bites, but that would be given the same social stigma as divorce). Therefore, having sex without being mated would be seen as a sin, even if you intended to bite them at the end of it; you're still having pre-marital (or pre-mateial in an abo context) sex, as you could change your mind and not bite them if you wanted to.

Hope it'll help if some of you are confused about the upcoming chapter 🙂

Stay tuned I'll update soon 💜
Thanks for patiently waiting 🥺
Love you all ❤️
