Breaking free

It had a week since Tory had overheard Sensei Silver and Sensei Barnes talking about what happened to Kreese. Since then tory hadn't been to training as she knew she wouldn't be able to contain her anger , robby had been encouraging her to come back to training because Silver would start to suspect that something was wrong. Once again at today's training session robby was forced to tell Silver that Tory was at work and that was the reason she couldn't be at training.

Robby had other problems to deal with and that was Kenny, robby hadn't trained with Kenny in weeks and he had recently found out that Kenny and Shawn had started working with Sensei Barnes , robby knew that this wasn't good and could cause Kenny to go down a dark path. After training Robby and Shawn decided to go hang out and play basketball, it was Robby's idea to hang out as he knew the best way to get through to Kenny was through his brother.

After playing a few games of basketball with Shawn and some of Shawn's friends they headed back to Shawn's house. Once Shawn friends were gone and it was just the two of them Robby decided to voice his concerns about Kenny training with Mike Barnes , robby was really surprised when Shawn reacted angrily he asked why Robby cared as it wasn't his job to lookout for Kenny now that he was back , robby really couldn't believe that Shawn felt this way so he tried to explain that he cares about Kenny and just wants what's best for him , Shawn was getting angrier and he told Robby that Sensei Silver told him that Robby was trying to replace him and act like Kenny brother and now he sees that he was right , robby tries his best to reassure Shawn that he isn't trying to be Kenny's brother all he's doing is being a friend to both of them and helping them but when he realises that he isn't getting anywhere he decides to leave and he will try to talk to him another day.

After leaving Shawn's house Robby can stop thinking about what Shawn said he wonders why Silver has been trying to turn Shawn and Kenny against him and how long has it been going on for. Robby knew that he needed to tell Tory about this as this was another thing that Silver had been hiding. After Robby had told tory about what Shawn said tory started to become really angry and she told Robby that she's had enough of Silver and his lies , after ranting for a few moments tory marched into her bedroom and grabbed her all valley winners trophy tory told Robby that she dreamed of winning this but since she did all it has done is cause problems, robby tries to calm her done before she does something drastic but he's too late and Tory throws the trophy against the wall , robby looked down in disbelief at the trophy that was now smashed and then he looked at Tory who was smiling, robby asked why she did it and Tory told him she had too because every time she looks at it she sees Silver's smug face and now she's breaking free from him and cobra Kai and now she's determined to find Kreese find out the truth.

Once Tory had calmed down and the mess was cleaned up Robby asked Tory if she was serious about being done with cobra Kai. Tory told him that she her loyalty to was never to cobra Kai it was to Kreese and whatever she finds out about him will determine her future with cobra Kai , Tory also told him that she was determined to find the truth but she would need his help , robby looked at his girlfriend and without any hesitation he told her that of course he would help her and together they find out what really happened with Kreese and the truth about the tournament but they couldn't do it alone , tory asked who would want to help them , robby told her that he believes his dad would want to help if he knew what had been going on. At first Tory wasn't really sure that Robby's dad would want to help them and if he did she was worried that Mr Larusso and Miyagi do would get involved as well but robby was reassured her that he would make sure his dad kept it to himself. Eventually Robby and Tory were able to agree that telling Johnny would be a good idea and that tomorrow they would tell him everything they know.

That night Robby stayed at Tory's so that the next day they could go and see his dad. Tory was grateful that Robby was helping her but she was even more grateful because she knew that Robby hadn't spoken to his dad in over a week after feeling like Johnny would always look out for Miguel before him. When Johnny answered the door he looked delighted to see his son but he was more surprised to see that he had brought tory with him, Johnny knew they were dating but he always thought Tory would never want anything to do with him. After Johnny had invited them in and told them to sit down robby tired to make small talk before getting to the big topic but tory wasn't interested in that and she immediately told Johnny that they needed his help, when Johnny asked what they needed his help he could never have imagined what they would have told him , Johnny told them that he even thought he thinks Silver is a piece of shit he has no reason to help Kreese , Tory is obviously annoyed at his attitude and feels like she's wasted her time but robby tells her that she has to tell him everything. Tory is really reluctant to tell him incase he accuses her of being in on it but she knows that she has to tell him , when tory reveals that she saw Silver bribe the ref Johnny is furious and asks why they never told him sooner , Robby tells him that it was a lot to take in and they wanted to ask Kreese if he knew anything about it before they told anyone. Johnny was really angry but also excited and he told them that now they could tell the truth and him and Daniel can reopen their dojos to new students. When Robby hears his dad say this he realises that they both need each other so he tells his dad that without Tory there is no evidence that Silver cheated so that means Johnny needs to help them and if he doesn't then they won't help him. Johnny is determined to take down Silver and maybe they do need Kreese because he knows Silver better than anyone so Johnny tells them that he'll do it he will help them, Johnny shakes their hands to seal the deal.
