Chapter 6

Camila's Pov

I sat at my desk applying my light make up as Girls by The 1975 blasted through my built in bathroom sound system. I dug my hands back into the bag of jumbled make up products looking for my eyeliner.

"Santana!" I screamed over the loud music frustrated with the fact the my eyeliner was missing. After a few seconds of no reply I shut off my music and an angrily strutted towards the door.

I opened the door making my way down the long stair case which led to my living room were I also found my older sister sleeping as the credits to 'Mean Girls' played along the screen.

Lazy child.

Picking up the remote I shut down the system looking down at my sister.

"Get up." I shook her lightly but I got no response.

"Santana get up!" I gritted my teeth sipping the blanket off of her. She grounded and turned in her sleep.

"It's Sunday and Mom and Dad will be home any minuet! Get up, Now" I tugged on her ankle and she kicked me away.

"Good morning to you too." She snapped as she sat up rubbing her eyes. I shook my head examining the mess her and Dani had managed to make during last nights movie marathon.

"This..." I gestured around the room with my hands. "Needs to be cleaned up. Dani needs to be sent home too, our parents get home at noon and I don't want to get punished again." Last time we left the house a mess while they were gone, they had cut our cable and wifi off and shut down our phone lines for a week.

I shuffled towards the kitchen grabbing my phone off the charger.

2 Missed Messages

One was from Lauren, and the other was from Dinah asking if we could hang out today. I quickly replied to Dinah and the opened Lauren's.

Ashley is through a party this weekend, care to join?

I then sent a quick reply explaining mine and Dinah's plans for the day and politely denying it.

Of course I wanted to go, but what kind of friend would I be if I missed our weekend beach hang out.

Throwing in toast quickly. I ate and headed up to my room to get ready.

I quickly pulled my white t-shirt over my head as a horn honked impatiently out side my house. I shimmed into my bathingsuit bottoms pulling my shorts over.

"Hey." Dani popped her head around my door holding Alex against her chest.

"I think you rides here." I smiled at my sisters girlfriend kindly and thanked her as I quickly shot passed them down the stairs.

"San I'm going out with Dinah. Call me when they arrive please." I passed my sister who was cleaning up left over candy wrappers from the living room table.

"Okay be back before eleven." I nodded sending a glowing smile towards her as I closed the door jogging out to Dinahs car.

I yanked own the door letting out a breath as I closed it. I turned towards my best friend grinning.

"Off too Torch Lake?" She shot me a quick glance out of the side of her eyes before sliding her sun glasses on and pulling out.

"Yup." She tapped her fingers along the wheel grinning from ear to ear she took a quick turn a into a drive way a few houses down from mine. I furrowed my eyebrows.
