"Ogge?" I speak into the phone to my best friend between sobs. I try my best to keep myself together but fail as soon as I try to speak.

"Amanda? What happened? Are you okay?" He questions all at once. I shake my head, even though I know he can't see me. Stand on the sidewalk, of my outside of my now ex boyfriends house.

"Do you think you can come and pick me up?" His end of the line goes silent for a few seconds before he speaks.

"Where are you?"

"Outside Jayke's house." I tell him, crying a bit more at the sound of his name escaping my lips.

"Okay, I'm coming to get you, just hold on." I hang up my phone, sitting down on the edge of the sidewalk, burying my face into my palms. I stay like this for about ten minutes until I hear Ogge's car pull up on the road. I stand up as he comes to a stop. I open the passenger door and slide into the seat. Ogge doesn't hesitate to pull me into a tight hug. I close my eyes, resting my head on his shoulder and letting a tear fall down my cheek and onto his white shirt.

"Amanda what happened?" He asks, after pulling away slightly.

"He cheated," I say in between gasps of air, "she was at his house when I got here."

"That's it," He says, taking off his seatbelt and opening his door, "I'm going to kick his ass." I shake my head grabbing onto his and and trying to pull him bak into the car.

"Please, no," I beg, "let's just go." He hesitates for a second before looking me straight in the sad, brown eyes and getting back in the car and driving away from Jayke's house. The drive is silent, the sound of nothing but the occasional sniffle from my side as I look out at the dark sky through the raindrops hitting my window. Ogge has his hand on my knee for comfort as he keeps his eyes focused on the road ahead of us.

We pull into the driveway of his house and he gets out of the car and walks around to open my door for me. When I stand up, he pulls me into a full hug, stronger, tighter than the previous. We walk up to the front door. I love being at his house, everything just seems so welcoming.I walk beside Ogge to the living room where we both sit down on the couch. There is a deafening silence for a few moments before his voice cracks the silence.

"Do you wanna stay over tonight?" His voice is understanding and sympathetic. I nod my head, knowing that both our parents are fine with it.

"Thank you." I simply tell him and he shakes his head, chucking a bit.

"Come on," he says, taking my hand and pulling me off of the couch, "we need to cheer you up a bit." He pulls me outside, closing the door behind us. Letting go of my hand, he runs out onto the lawn and begins to dance in the pouring rain. I giggle gently.

"You look ridiculous." I yell at him. He doesn't stop, he just laughs.

"Come and join me." I shake my head.

"Hell no." He runs back over to me, picking me up by the waist and carries me out into the rain along with him. I try resisting but there's no use, he's too strong. He spins me around a few times before putting me on the ground. He begins to dance again, encouraging me to join him and I do. I laugh with him and for the first time, I forget about Jayke. I run into Ogge's arms, taking him by surprise at first, but he wraps his arms around me and holds on. When he lets go, I'm still smiling, but he replaces his smile with a serious look.

"You deserve better than him." He tells me. I can feel the space between us vanishing and I don't object. Gently, Ogge pushes his lips onto mine.

"I'm sorry, Amanda," he says, pulling away, "it's just, I don't like seeing you that upset, and I..." He trails off, looking to his feet. I know what he's trying to say. I push his chin back up to meet his eyes again.

"Me too." I half whisper. Pushing myself up onto my tiptoes, and gently placing my lips onto his.
