It was night. And you could hear the thunderstorm from outside. Ayumi was laying in the bed next to Yuki. Suddenly Ayumi heard a loud lightning strike. Out of fear she huddled into her blanket. Yuki woke up hearing Ayumis whimpering.
"Ayumi."
"...."
No response.
Yuki stood up went to Ayumi and pulled her planked up. She saw Ayumis state, and laid next to her. She pulled the blanket back over the both of them.
"Ayumi don't be scared. I'm here."
"*sniff*Nee-chan*"
Yuki hugged Ayumi and rubbed her back in circular motions. She could feel Ayumi relaxing.
"Nee-chan"
"Hmm?"
"Nee-chan will always stay with me?"
"I will."
Ayumi looked up at her sister.
"Really."
"Yes I promise"
Yuki held her pinky finger up at Ayumi. Ayumi looked at her confused.
"Ah, this is called a pinky promise"
"pinky promise?"
"Yeah, it's like a ritual to deepen a promise. Many does this."

"Ok, then the one who makes the promise has to say times 10. Ayumi I will always be with you. I promise times 10" Yuki kissed her pinky and held it up to Ayumi.
Ayumi smiled happily at Yuki, kissed her pinky and intertwines it with Yuki's.
Shortly after the two of them fell asleep in each other's arms, totally forgetting and blending out the storm outside.
