The First Moment

~ Eli POV~

I got upstairs to Demetri's room as fast I possibly could. I knocked on his door really fast, hoping Cas wouldn't come upstairs. Demetri opened the door,

" Hey Eli? You didn't tell me you where coming over, wanna read comic books?" He asked and I nodded yes. I went inside and got on his bed, lying down looking up at the ceiling.

I cant believe I almost just kissed Cassie. She has a boyfriend. Why would I do that? I know she doesn't like me. Why would anyone like me with my defected lip? Wait, was she going in for a kiss too? I mean she didn't stop me, I stopped myself. Ughhh Eli what are you thinking, this is CASSANDRA we are talking about, you can't kiss your best friends sister!!! What am I kidding? I didn't have a chance anyways.

Thoughts where all racing in my head at top speed, Demetri was looking at me very concerned. He didn't bother to speak though since he knew I wouldn't answer him about what I was thinking. I could never tell Demetri about how I felt about Cas, he would absolutely freak out.

" Hey, did uh- did something happen man? You look really stressed out and your fidgety." I looked down at my hands to see them going crazy.

" No I'm just really tired, I'm gonna go to the bathroom ." I said and made my way out of his room to go to the bathroom. I got in their and looked at myself in the mirror, my lip is so ugly. I felt warm tears start to leave my eyes and I let them fall, I'm so sad that I had turned out this way, why can't I be more like Kyler or someth-.

The sound of the door opening cut off my thought. It was Cas.

~ Cassies pov~

I sat in my car for a while before I finally got out and headed to the kitchen for a drink, I needed one. I got a cup of "grape juice" since I didn't get to have anything at the party and sat down at our island. My head was racing with thoughts and I was completely spaced out. My mom walked in the kitchen and leaned down in front of me.

"Boy trouble?" She asked and I looked up, I nodded and she held onto my hand,

" I knew that look when I saw it, what's going on sweetie? Did that Kyler kid cheat on you? Send you naked photos? Did you and him have.." I looked up in a panic

" What mom?! No, you don't need to worry about Kyler. This is um, about somebody else." She looked with confusion, thinking about who else it could be.

" Okay, what's up with you and him?" She asked and I sighed,

" Well I like Kyler and Kyler likes me but it's been kinda awkward and he acts totally different around his friends than he does me it's like a whole fake personality. Also he hasn't even asked me to be his girlfriend, even though we have made out like two times, sorry TMI. But I also just feel like he is using me and Sam also mentioned that he had been talking recently to her too."

"Okay, we need to be over Kyler. I wanna hear about the new guy." She said playfully shaking my arm,

" Ok well he's not really that 'new' I have known him for a while. He's really sweet and awkward but in a good way. I'm not sure if he liked me or not but today I'm pretty sure he was gonna make a move, he stopped himself before he could though. I think I like him but I would have to keep it a secret from someone I love and my friends because they would for sure kick me out. So I don't know what to do."

My mom took a deep breath and I was out of breath from all the stress talking.

" I think you need to take some time for yourself, go take a bath or do something to calm you down. You never know, what you need might be right there in front of you." I looked at her and nodded.

"Thanks Mom", I smiled.

"Anytime sweetheart" she said as she hugged me,

" but if you want to drink wine in the house, ask me first, I don't need you taking the good stuff." She winked and laughed.

She left to go to her room and I went up the stairs to the bathroom. It was very late so I thought Demetri would be asleep, and Eli probably walked home.

I opened the door to see Eli staring at himself in the mirror, he had tears on his face. He looked at me and sighed while covering his lip up with the sleeve of his hoodie. Also wiping the tears off his face. I took a few looks at him and then went up and hugged him. He got tense and was very surprised, I can tell he hasn't had a hug in a while. He finally relaxed and hugged me back, letting his tears out.

"I'm so sorry, Cas..." he said while crying and I stepped back from the hug just slightly so I could see his face clearly.

" What are you sorry for? You haven't done anything wrong at all." He sighed and looked away,

" I made you feel pity for me and say all those things in the car, and then I made you more uncomfortable when I tried to kiss you when you didn't want to kiss me because of my lip I'm so so sorry." He confessed in a rushed, nervous tone.

He tried to slide around me but I grabbed his hand and pulled him to me.

" Listen I meant every  thing I said in my car" I said and he looked down at me,

" are you sure? Even the cute part?" He said and I held his cheek and looked at him, his lips, and him again.

" especially the cute part." I laughed and then softly pressed my lips to his, slightly gripping on to the back of his hair. He was very tense and then sorta melted into it. We stayed like this for god knows how long and then we pulled apart.

" Is everything ok Eli?" I asked and he turned his head sideways and leant down to kiss me, just as passionate as last time. For never kissing a girl in his life, I had to admit, he was a pretty good kisser. He knew just how to make out perfectly, without going overly aggressive or sexual. We finally pulled apart and he hugged me so tight and I could just feel him smiling.

"Thank you so much for believing in me, I like you so much for that." He pulled apart from me and then looked at me semi serious,

" please don't tell Demetri, he will kill us. Only tell people you really want to ok?" I nodded

" I wish we could kiss all night, but I'm really tired." I said, he smiled

" Ok, see you tomorrow" he said while walking back to his room and I gave him one more kiss on the cheek.

" please call me tomorrow ok?" He nodded and I could tell as we walked back to our rooms we where blushing the whole time.
