(Y/N) walked through the prison hallways in search of one cell in particular. She walked through one hallway and found a marker telling her where to find his cell. She got to the front of the cell and kicked the door in. There were hardly any guards here due to all the ex-meta sitting in cages with no way out so no one needed to keep too close of an eye on them. She walked a few feet in before she saw him. Laying on the ground with nothing to sleep on. she walked up to his cell and broke the door open.

He slowly turned on his side to face her. He knew she would come for him, he just didn't know when. She always came for him no matter what he did wrong. She forgave him for everything he ever did, simply because he believed in God and would often pray with her. He would ask her for her forgiveness and she would always say yes to him. He loved her so much. Her scent, the way she smiled at people, how gentle she was to him and other people, that amazing laugh of hers that made his knees buckle, and of course the wonderful noises she made. Even in this dark and hollow cave it still looked as if light from the heavens was always shining down on her; probably because it was. It was only a few years ago that she told him she was an angel sent to protect him from the world. At first, she would keep her distance and protect him from afar but she couldn't help herself when she accidentally bumped into him walking down the street. They locked eyes for moments before he finally broke the silence and apologized. Of course, she refused his apology and insisted it was her fault for not watching where she was going.

A couple of months later she found herself applying for a job at his company. She would later become the lead designer of the building. After a few months of flirting back and forth and he finally worked up the courage to ask her to get coffee with him. It went great and he kept bringing her to new places each date. Until finally the particle accelerator was built and she had moved in with him and had many amazing nights with him. She soon found herself only ever wanting him. Unfortunately, catastrophe was set in motion when the particle accelerator turned on. For a whole 45 minutes, everything was running smoothly until a storm hit and everyone heard what they'd feared the most. The big bang. She could see multiple people trying to get the machine back under control, but they were failing miserably. The building started to rumble and she started running through the halls looking for him. She found him in his office trying to also stop the problem, she ran as fast as she could but unfortunately, she wasn't fast enough, a big rumble seized the building and threw her against the wall. He came running to her side but was stopped short when a piece of the ceiling fell on him.

Forever, even in the present time, she still blames herself for not being able to protect him. It only ever got better when he told her his secret only to find out she already knew. That was also the time she told him she was his guardian angel sent from heaven to protect him.

She came close to him and picked him up off the ground and into her arms. She extended her wings to a full span and busted through the side of the mountain. She jumped and began flying to heights above the clouds. It was peaceful. She looked at him. His scruffy face. She nuzzled her face to his. He buried his head in the crook up her neck. He noticed that she kept flying higher and higher. He posed a question, "Did I die? Is that why we're still going up?" She smiled at his worried face and pecked him on the lips. She shook her head, "Of course not, it's just so beautiful up here, and I wanted you to see," He smiled back at her, grabbing her chin in between his nimble fingers making her face him. They both leaned in and kissed. It was a reassuring kiss. For one to tell the other everything was going to be alright, and that nothing and no one would ever hurt him or her again.

"I love you, Eobard Thawne," She mumbled against his lips, "I love you too, my little angel," She picked up speed, trying to get to her destination quicker. She glanced at him, "Sleep, you need it," He knew better not to argue with her and wrapped his arms around her neck and buried his face in the crook of her neck. "Sweet dream, Eo," She kissed the top of his head.
