I spent my days just like how I would and forgot about my Father's offer. I'm fine with my grandparents. And I'm sure my Mother WILL come back for me, that's definite.
3rd Person P.O.V.
Saturday came fast and Tsukishima didn't care whatsoever. He stayed at home and did his thing, studying or just playing music in his headphones while he laid on his bed.
He's vibing to a song when the low sound of a message notification is heard on top of the music he's playing.
He opens his eyes to see a text from an unknown number.
He raised an eyebrow, wondering who it might be.
But when he opened the message, he quickly knew who it was from—his father.
"I'll wait for your answer, text me."
He rolls his eyes as he shuts his phone off, closing his eyes and once again relaxing in his bed.
An hour later, he hears the front door open, indicating that his grandmother had opened it.
He sits up, putting his headphone off of his ears and listens to the sound of two people talking.
The first voice belonging to his grandmother while the second voice, to his dismay, belonged to his father.
He sighs and stands up, heading to the door of his bedroom.
He opens it and sees his grandmother actually chatting with his father on the living room.
He slowly and silently walks over, stopping when he's just a meter away from them.
He stares at his father's face, hateful things running through his mind as he gritted his teeth with a clenched up fist.
"Kei-chan" a familiar voice called out to him that stopped the train of thoughts from piling inside his head.
His face softens as he turned his focus on the old lady sitting on the single sofa on his left.
"Grandma" he replied with a subtle smile.
"Come here and sit, Kei-chan" she says, tapping her hand on the seat.
Although hesitant, Tsukishima headed to the long sofa.
He sat on the other end of the sofa that's close to his grandmother while the other end is occupied by none other than his father.
He glances to his left to see his father looking at him with a straight face, "Why are you here?" Tsukishima asks.
"I'm here to get you" his father replies with no sign of care or gentleness in his voice whatsoever.
The statement made Tsukishima kind of sick, "That's for me to decide." he says with a glare directed to his father.
"Kei-chan, calm down please" his grandmother says, placing a hand on his shoulder as she tried to ease the tension building up.
"Please, leave" Tsukishima says as politely as possible but not even looking at his father's direction.
He heard him sigh and thought he would oblige, but to his dismay he spoke,
"Like I said, I'm here to get you." his father repeated.
Tsukishima once again clenched up his fists, "I said, that's on me!" he reminded, getting more and more agitated.
His grandmother looked up at him with concern laced in her eyes.
She just wanted to let Tsukishima live a comfortable life, so why is she feeling guilty?
The father stood up and looked at the two who's seated, he steps forward and spoke,
"Whether you like it or not, you're coming. You're kind grandmother here has already given me permission to take you".
The first sentence made Tsukishima angrier, but the last sentence made him cock his head to face his grandmother in shock.
"W-why, Grandma?" Tsukishima asks defensively. His grandmother stared back at him with concerned eyes.
"I..just want the best for you, Kei-chan" she replies quietly, holding the back of Tsukishima's hand.
"No! If you don't want me anymore, then I'll go home to Mom" Tsukishima says standing up and walking back to his room.
His grandmother hurriedly walks after him, "Kei.." she watched as Tsukishima stuffed his clothes to a bag, picking up his personal stuff from his desk and then zipping the bag close.
"Kei-chan, I don't want you to leave, I just!" she was cut off by Tsukishima,
"I won't go with that..guy! I'll just go home to Mom!" he blurted out, trying not to shed even a single tear.
"Your mother...said she wouldn't come back for you" his grandmother says with tears rolling down her cheeks.
The revelation made Tsukishima speechless and stop his movements all together.
Just then, his father walks in, "I don't care if you hate me, just come with me and I'll provide for everything".
A long pause swallowed the whole room until Tsukishima finally spoke, "Grandma, do you want me to go with him?" he asks.
His grandmother wiped the tears from her face and looks at him with swollen eyes, "Yes.." she gently replied.
"Fine, then. I'll go" Tsukishima says nonchalantly. His father walked out of the room first, heading outside of the house.
Tsukishima carried his baggage and followed suit, exiting the front door he's already familiar with.
He stops walking and looks back at his grandmother standing by the door.
She gives him a gentle smile, moving her head to signal him to continue walking and enter the vehicle.
And so he continued to walk and opens the door to the car and goes in.
He looks to the window to see his grandmother waving her hand at him
He quickly averted his gaze to the front of the car, figuring it would hurt more if he looked.
The car started to depart and soon, they've arrived to a big house, presumably his father's house with his new wife.
"We're here." he hears his father say from the driver's seat as he stopped the car, opening the door to get out.
Tsukishima opens his door, dragging his baggage from the other end of the seat and getting out himself.
His father went ahead, being welcomed by a woman and a boy who had the same green hair as her.
He looks at them as they hugged and looks to the house, then to the spacious lawn, front yard, and garage, 'This is going to be my new life?' he thought.
