"Let's go to school together, Hinata"
3rd Person's P.O.V.
Hinata continues his daily routine of going to school at day and then streaming at night.
He had the average everyday life any student had (..except the streaming part), and is fairly satisfied with it.
But something quite 'troublesome' for him added to his 'peaceful' going to school routine, and a certain alpha is to be blamed.
Hinata is also aware that he's not the only one who finds the 'new routine' to be troublesome and awkward...
"You again" Kenma blurts out as soon as he spots the raven-haired boy standing next to his best friend.
His voice was filled with clear irritation as his face had an annoyed expression plastered in it.
It was early in the morning and this is certainly not the way he wanted for his day to start.
"Goodmorning, Kenma!" Hinata greets him with his bright smile while Kageyama just gave him a brief nod, looking indifferent.
Kenma rolls his eyes at the oblivious Kageyama and quickly turns his attention to Hinata.
His face softens as he greeted the boy back, "Goodmorning, Sho" he says with his usual quiet voice but laced with clear affection.
He stood on Hinata's left, glancing at Kageyama on Hinata's right side every now and then
He pondered annoyingly at how the scene would repeat day after day on their school days.
He enjoyed riding the train with just him and Hinata standing or sometimes sitting by each other's side, overlooking the view from the train's long windows.
But, now, it's all ruined — at least for him, it is. He wanted to have just this time for him to be alone with Hinata as they don't get to hang out in school since they aren't classmates.
He and Hinata only got the chance to hang out maybe three to four times a week whenever they visit to each other's houses.
Apparently, three to four days in a week is not enough for the pudding head as he wanted to spend every free time he can with Hinata.
It has been two weeks since Kageyama has transferred to their school, and every single day of the weekdays he always tagged along with the two.
It irks Kenma a little that Hinata and Kageyama have the time alone together until they arrive at Kenma's stop and when going home they'd also have the time until their own station.
Though, it made him quite relieved for Hinata, having someone to look out for him until he gets home. Kenma wanted him to be always safe, that's a priority, for sure.
Kenma even tried to convince Hinata to just live with him multiple but Hinata said there's no need for that.
Well, he's right, rather than living together because Hinata needs it, the reason seems to be that Kenma wants and needs it.
He was sure he would be satisfied if he could ensure Hinata's safety.
Hinata tries to strike up a conversation to break the ice between the two former setters standing in his sides. But —
It was proven to be not so effective to kill the awkwardness that was surrounding them as both Kenma and Kageyama didn't show any signs of wanting to lengthen the conversation.
They only nodded their head and gave small hums whenever Hinata would say something or whenever they felt like they had to.
After a few minutes of long silence between the three, the train finally arrives at their destination.
Getting off the train, Kageyama kept his eyes on Hinata, making sure he doesn't get lost with the swarm of other passengers getting out along with them.
Kenma also made sure Hinata stayed close to him by placing his arm around his body, resting his hand on his waist.
Kageyama walked just behind Hinata, towering over him and Kenma.
It actually made Kenma thankful that he didn't have to worry about not being able to protect the other side of Hinata's body.
Kageyama occasionally stole glances from Kenma to make sure he's also fine.
Kenma have the same petite figure as Hinata, even though he's slightly taller and is in fact an alpha, his short stature can cause him trouble, such as getting lost in the crowd.
Kenma took notice of Kageyama quietly checking up on him, and didn't like it one bit.
He tightened his hand that was snaked around Hinata's waist as he locked eyes with the taller's dark blue eyes with his yellow ones.
He gave Kageyama a glare full of emotion which opposite to Kageyama's eyes who held apathy.
"Stop doing that, I don't need it" Kenma says nonchalantly to cover up his irritation as he didn't want to make Hinata scared or uncomfortable.
Kageyama stared back at him before shrugging and focusing only on Hinata. Kenma softens his glare as he felt Hinata shift to look at him, "Did you say something?" he asks.
Kenma shook his head no and have Hinata a reassuring smile as they continued to walk their way to the school.
They soon arrived at the school ground and Kenma parted ways with the two, waving goodbye at Hinata.
He watched as Hinata and Kageyama's figures disappeared from his sight and thought, 'If only I can protect Shoyo by myself'.
