You sat on a bench at the fountain that the two of you met at for your first date. You smiled as the blond dragon slayer walked up to you. As always, he was handsome. He wore the same pants as usual but wore a skin tight sleeveless black shirt.
"Hey princess, you ready?"
You nodded your head and stood from the bench.
"Where are we going?"
"We are going bowling," he grinned. "Sound good?"
"Sounds great! But," you smirked, "be prepared to eat my dust Eucliffe."
He chuckled, "Should I be nervous?"
"You should be terrified."
He started to guide you in the direction with a hand on your back, "I'm already shaking in my boots."
"As you should be."
You both made it to the building in the downtown part of Crocus. He paid for you to play and you both ordered food, which he offered to pay for as well. You both walked up to the alley assigned to you and he was quick to pick the heaviest bowling ball they had which was 16 pounds. You obviously did the same.
"You ready?" He smirked down at you.
"Yep!"
"Ladies first," he motioned.
"Exactly," you motioned right back.
He glared at you but you heard him chuckle as he turned away to bowl. He knocked all but one pin down, and on his second try he got a spare.
"Rookie," you scoffed walking past him.
"I'm just getting warmed up!"
You took the 16 pound bowling ball, prepped, and rolled it across the floor... until it went in the gutter. Yes, you were really good at bowling... back when you were 15 which was also the last time you played.
You heard Sting's muffled laughter. You looked behind you as he covered his mouth, shoulders shaking.
"Shut up," you mumbled, face bright red.
"I thought I was supposed to eat your dust," he laughed.
You stayed silent, picking up the ball again and rolling it. You'd make it this time. Except... it went in the gutter again. He made no attempt to hide his amusement this time.
You pouted as he picked up the ball and easily got a strike.
"Don't sulk," he smiled. "Here, do it again and I'll tell you what you did wrong."
You did so.
"You're holding it wrong."
He picked up the ball when it came back in order to show you. He showed you that you were holding it with you pointer and middle fingers instead of your middle and ring fingers. You remembered now. That had also been your first mistake when you first played in general.
You rolled the ball, this time getting all the pins except three. You pumped your fist with a grin.
"There you go!" he cheered and high-fived you.
The both of you continued to play. At the end of the game he had the most points and therefore won.
Afterwards, you both got ice cream and headed to the park. You sat on a bench beside him, finishing your cold dessert.
"So, I thought you were supposed to be great at bowling?"
You rolled your eyes. "I used to be, but the last time I played was four years ago. Seems I lost my spark," you sighed dramatically.
"Nah, it's still there. You just needed to refresh your memory," he shrugged. "I mean, after I showed you how to properly do it, I regretted it slightly because you were doing spare after spare and then strike after strike."
"I was so close yet so far from beating you," you chuckled.
"Maybe next time," he winked.
"Smooth move," you smiled.
"Smooth as butter."
"And you ruined it," you sighed.
"No!" he yelled dramatically and looked up as if he lost some great battle.
"Shh!" you laughed looking around as passerbys glared.
After a few moments, he escorted you back to the inn you were staying in, since your train left at 5:00 p.m.
"So..." he started, staring up at the inn.
"So?"
"What about a third date?"
"Sure. My place this time?"
"Sounds good," he smiled, joy evident on his face.
You both planned the day and time and you gave him your address.
"Alright, I'll see you then," he scratched the back of his neck.
"Before you go," you trailed off. You were nervous.
"Yes?"
You took a step forward and wrapped your arms around his neck. His breath hitched in his throat as you both came closer to each other with eyes closed. His lips touched yours lightly. You both pulled apart from each other, blushing furiously.
"Uh... see you then!" you turned away.
"Right!"
You smiled at him and nodded your head before going inside.
You were excited but also extremely nervous for what was to come. This was another one of life's adventures, one that you were eager to explore. You really enjoyed Sting's company, and it was easy to get along with him.
It would be a thrilling adventure
