Jennie's POV

We somehow managed to lost them. We are currently on a highway. We are watching the sunrise. I told Jisoo to get some sleep, she refused.

"Where are we going?" She asked as I take turn towars Andong village.

"I made a plan. We will go to my grandparents house. They already passed away. No one is using the house. We will stay there for awhile." I said.

This is the only plan I can made right now. My mind is already blank. I hungry, sleepy and scared for my life.

"This is a plan? You call it a plan?" She asked savagely.

I glared at her, "what do you mean? If you are so good in planning then why don't you think something!?" I snapped at her.

She flinched. I took a few breaths to calm myself. I feel guilty for shouting at her. She is also scared.

"I'm scared as much as you are. We can't drive around. We need a good place to hide." I said glancing at her.

She nodded, "I'm sorry for being rude."

The rest of the ride was silent. She is quite reserved type. I actually want to get to know her. Is it really a coincidence that we keep on meeting each other? Also my dream. She has the same voice as her. What if that girl in my dream is really her?

"Jennie.. are you okay?" I startled by Jisoo, nudging me.

"Huh? What did you said?" I asked.

She stared at me in worry for a few seconds. "I asked how much time needed to get to your grandparents house?"

"Ohh.. we are about to arrive in a few minutes." I said to her.

It's not time to think those. I need to do something so we can get out of this mess.

I stopped the car in front of the house. It still looks the same when I last time visited here. I was 10 at that time. We get out of the car. Since is a rural area, we can see a lot of greenery. Also the houses are a bit away from each other. I noticed Jisoo, stared at the surrounding in awe. She looks tired. I slowly go to her.

"Hey.. we should go inside." I said, putting my hand on her small back.

"It's really calm here." She said as we entered.

I ring the doorbell. After a few seconds later, the caretaker of this house open the door. She is in her 50s. She stared at us confused. Her name is Martha.

"Hello. May I know who are you?" Martha asked.

I smiled, "you didn't recognized me Martha? I'm Jennie."

She feels embarrassed, "oh my god! I'm really sorry Jennie. I didn't recognized you. The last time I saw you, were 10." She laughed.

"It's okay." I give her a small smile. She is really sweet and caring.

Her eyes fall on Jisoo, "oh she must be your friend. Please come in. I made you stay outside of your own house." She said laughing shyly.

Jisoo only give her a smile. Her smile is perfect. It always makes my heart flutter. I didn't noticed that I was staring until Martha pulled both of us to sit down.

"Is it okay if you make some breakfast for us? We uh haven't eaten breakfast yet." I said, cause I'm super hungry.

"Oh sure! I'll make it now." She said and about to go to the kitchen but stopped, "uh you two are going to stay here right?"

"Yes. We will stay here for awhile. Is there any problem?" I asked, feeling the uneasiness in her voice.

"Well I'm really sorry but only one room is available right now. Others are renovating. Your dad came here 3 weeks ago and instructed me to renovated the rooms." She said, feeling guilty.

I laughed, "it's okay.. we can share a room."

It's not a bad thing to share a room with her right?

Jisoo's POV

I feel annoyed when Jennie said that we can share a room. At least she could have asked if I'm okay with it or not. It's not like she is a bad person or gonna do anything bad to me. I shouldn't act rude to her. She is saving me. She could have left me and run away.

At Lisa's place, when I noticed that my door is open, I determined to run away. I heard shouting from the corridor. I peeked at downstairs and saw Lisa pointing gun at a cat eyed girl. I heard their conversation and realised that Jennie is that girl from the party. Without thinking twice I run to save her as i saw Lisa about pull the trigger.

"You should take a bath." I heard Jennie said.

I nodded. I realise I don't have clothes. As if Jennie hear my thoughts.

"Your fresh clothes and towel are in the bathroom. I borrowed it from Martha. It's her daughter's clothes." She explained.

I sighed before going to the bathroom. The house is really big. The interior is also impressive. This bathroom is one of my favourite now. I stand infront of the big mirror. Staring at my reflection, I can't help but to feel sick. My eyes are dull, have dark circles. My brown hair is messy. The skin is dry and covered with a few cuts. I slowly removed my clothes. My jaw tightened in anger. My body is full of scars now. She gave it to me. Her gift for me. I can't help but to cry. I can't even see my own self now. I feel disgusted.

"Sorry I left my com--" suddenly Jennie come in.

Shit! I forgot to lock the door. I quickly covered my half naked body with the towel.

"Y-you should have knocked!" I snapped at her feeling irritated and scared. Did she saw the scars?

"H-how did I-it--" I didn't let her finish.

"GET OUT!!" I shouted in anger. I promised myself to never let anyone see my scars.

I pushed her out of the bathroom and closed the door shut. I slid down the on the floor sobbing uncontrollably. The look on her face was shocked. I hate myself. I never did anything wrong to receive this punishment. I thought Lisa loves me. I was wrong. She is nothing but a manipulative psycho. She even killed my parents. I have no one in this world. I'm alone. I'll die, no one can save me.

I heard a knock on the door. I didn't answered.

"It's not your fault. Cry until you calm down." I heard Jennie said.

She doesn't sounds disgusted. I can't help but to feel guilty again for yelling at her. Maybe she is really a good person. Should I open up to her?
