Jennie's POV

I hold her hand tightly while running faster in the rain. I'm tired. My legs are hurting so much. I looked over at Jisoo who is panting and crying. Before I can say anything a bullet passed us and break a window glass. We are running in between the houses. I don't know how we ended up like this.

"I c-can't run anymore." Jisoo said stop running.

I stopped also, "we can't stop they are coming."

"You go.. Run away... I can't.." she crouched down on the ground.

I saw their silhouettes. I grabbed her hand tightly, pulling her  towards small dark shade. We hide behind a lot of wooden boxes. The place is too narrow. Jisoo is leaning on the wall. I put my hands both sides of her head, trying not to make her uncomfortable.

"Where the fuck did they go!?" One of those men shouted angrily.

"They can't go that far. Must be hiding somewhere near." The other one said.

They start to find us. They tried to look through the dark. I crouched down as well as Jisoo. They start to move the boxes. I can see how much scared she is. She buried her face on my shoulder. I pulled her closer.

"Oh! Here they are." He said, after finding us.

I glanced up and saw them laughing at us. All of them have guns in their hands. Are we gonna die?

"Take her away and kill this bitch." One of them ordered as a man pulled Jisoo away from me.

"Yah!! Don't take her away--" he punched me.

I fall on the floor winced in pain. Jisoo keep on crying.

"Let her go please! She didn't do anything!!" She cried out loudly.

"We are setting her free.." he smirked the  pulled the trigger of the gun.

"JENNIE! WAKE UP!" I jolted up on the bed.

"W-what happened? Are you okay!?" I immediately asked Jisoo.

I cupped her cheeks, finding any injuries. Everything is normal. I look around my surroundings. I'm in the room not outside. Was it a dream?

"You were crying in sleep. I continuously trying to wake you up." Jisoo said. She give me a glass of water.

I gulped it down. I took a few deep breaths to calm my racing heart. It was so real. I messed up my hair.

"Don't think about it. It's already 7 in the evening. I'll go downstairs to get us some food." She said, getting off from the bed.

"Wait I'll go also.." I don't want to stay alone.

Martha isn't there. I guess she left for her house. She lives here the whole day. At night she will leave for her house.

"Umm where is she?" Jisoo asked.

"She left to her house I guess. Let's see if she cooked dinner for us." I said walking over the fridge.

She made a lot of dishes. Jisoo peeked at the dishes inside the fridge.

"Woahh!! So many foods.." she mumbled.

We take out the foods and served it. We are way too hungry. Not a single dish left at the end of the dinner. I pat my tummy then burp. I heard Jisoo giggled.

"What?" I asked.

"Your burp.. sounds so cute hahaha.." she laughed.

I rolled my eyes playfully. "No it's not!"
