Back at Deena's, Sam crashes onto the couch while Simon closes the curtains, just to be extra safe.
"I don't understand, smashing her face in didn't stop her." Sam says
"Amazing observation, Einstein" Adam rolls his eyes
"Who the hell was that?" Deena shouts
"How the hell should I know? She.. she was hot! She seemed like a normal bitch!"
"You say that after I saved your fucking life?" Adam sasses
"We all know I like girls and guys, shut up!"
"So do I! What the fuck?"
"I'm just saying she was hot, okay!"
"She was not hot, you delusional asswipe! She was ugly as fuck!"
"Wait, was she singing?" Josh asks, interrupting the two queer boys.
"I dunno, she was singing some wack ass song and had an old-timey razor blade for shaving, okay!"
Josh leads the group down the the basement, where he kept newspaper clippings of the murders that occurred in Shadyside. He pulled one off titled 'Teen Fillets Friends'
"Her name was Ruby Lane, she sung this old-timey song and slashed her victims with a shaving blade. This look like her?" Josh asks Simon
"Holy shit!" Simon exclaims, taking a closer look at the newspaper clipping.
"Wait, I never saw this on the news?" Kate questions
"Yeah, because it happened 30 years ago in 1965" Josh answers, pointing towards the date on the paper. He walks toward the large cork board again, grabbing a few more newspaper clippings and brings them back to the table, "Ruby is one of Shadyside's killers, just like Skull Mask. I mean Ryan Torres. Look, 1978, sixteen years ago."
Josh sets a clipping titled 'Camp Nightwing Massacre' on the table, "Masked psycho murders kids at-"
"Camp Nightwing" Kate finishes, "Yeah my mom's sister went there, that screwed up my family for a long time."
"1950," Josh continues, placing another clip on the table titled 'Milkman Slays Home Makers' "Harry Rooker, local milkman slashes a bunch of housewives." Josh puts another clip on top of that, titled 'Body Parts Found; Humpty-Dumpty Killer Strikes Again!'
Adam stares and quickly skims over each paper, taking in the new information very quickly, his mind racing a million miles an hour.
"1935, Humpty Dumpty Killer. 1922, Billy Barker."
Adam looks at the title for the 1922 clip, reading 'Deformed Boy Bashes Brothers' Heads While They Sleep'. Yikes.
"1904, 'Drifter Guts Girls', and on and on. It happens in Shadyside over and over. Normal people turn into psychos."
"Jesus.." Simon mutters, looking at the pictures Josh set on the table as well, finding one of a man with no eyes.
"Look at this guy," Simon hands Adam the picture
"Wait! That's, that's the guy from 1666, when this shit started! Uhm.. Cyrus Miller! That pastor who ripped all those kids' eyes out and his own, like praying to God in the church or something," Adam explains, knowing the story.
Sam stood up from the table, walking off, Deena walked off after her as Adam, Josh, Simon, and Kate continue talking about how the killings are some supernatural form.
"None of this is random, it's Sarah Fier. She's turning Shadysiders into killers."
"Do you really believe that?" Kate asks him, "No one actually thinks this witch shit is real."
