Chapter 17

As we made it back to Casita, I couldn't stay focus at the woman and her husband I saw earlier, I regain my focus as Micheal said " Y/n, what's wrong are you okay?"

" Y-Yeah..." I replied " I-I'm fine..."

" Y/n..." Micheal said softly " You can tell me anything, I'm your brother."

I sighed and said " I think... I think I saw our mom and dad."

" H-How can you be sure?"

I replied " She had our same eye color, her hair was light brown with a little bit of grey in it. And her husband, his eyes are milk chocolate and he was calming her down because she was crying."

" But Y/n... that couldn't be them, and plus, I checked, they live in Chicago."

 " They could have moved to Colombia!"

" That might be... but, can't be them!"

" But-"

*knock* *knock*

We stayed silent as we heard footsteps from upstairs

" Yes.."

" Um Hello Mrs. Madrigal."  a familiar voice 

" I'm looking for two children named Micheal and Y/n L/n... Have you seen them?"

" what the fuck?" Micheal whispered quietly so Alma couldn't hear him

" Um... I've never seen them." Alma replied

" oh really?" a male voice said " because we saw Y/n and Micheal with one of your Madrigal kid."

" Aden...." the woman said " if she said she hasn't seen them, then she hasn't seem them..."

" okay..." the man said " sorry for my rudeness Mrs. Madrigal."

" It's fine..." Alma replied " I hope you find them soon, have a safe day."

As the door closed, Micheal turned to me and said " Y/n... you are right! they are parents!"

" I told you." I yelled 

" But how are we going to get out? we'll be too late when our two weeks are up!"

" Your right..." I said I bit my lip "  We need to do something quick before the leave!"

" your right, but what?!"

" I don't know yet." I shrugged " But I will let you know."

" great." Micheal sighed " I have to wait for hours for you to plan things!"

" why don't you try to think!" I yelled " I'm not going to be like Bill Nye the Science guy for the rest of my life!"

" Your right..." Micheal muttered "How about another tempt to escape."

" You wanna die again?!" I yelled " Our legs are already broken, and If Luisa breaks them again, WE'LL BE DEAD!"

" dammit, your right." Micheal grumbled " Well, I don't know what to do! Y/N HELP ME PLS!"

I shook my head and said " sorry bro, I can't think of nothing... not yet."

" Just great." Micheal yelled a bit " I'm going to take a nap... see ya later when I wake up."

" Okay."

As Micheal went to sleep, I was still trying to think of something. I know I'm good at making ideas but this time, It's getting harder and annoying. I bit my lip as I was trying to think. It's useless, I can't think of it right now.... I might as well take a nap.

As I closed my eyes, an Idea came to me: When the 2 weeks are up,  when the Madrigals untie us, We'll grab our things, wake up Antonio and escape without anyone noticing, I wanted to wake up Micheal, but I have the urge not to.

" Might as well sleep too." I said whiled shrugging my shoulders.

As I got comfortable, I yawned a little bit and started my nap.
