As Lumine roamed the courtyard steadily, her kimono keeping her at a low yet reasonably warm temperature as she roamed, the winter season visible all around her. Dim sunlight hit her tan skin, the biting cold even stinging it a bit. However part of it felt nice, with her busy and even possibly unreasonable schedule getting fresh air was like getting a present for a not even special occasion, as if the universe made its way to you on a completely normal day, and gave you something you never thought you yearned so much for.
Her quiet thinking was interrupted by a guard, young and nervous looking, couldn't be over twenty-five. It almost made her wonder what someone was so young doing with that job. Didn't he have a whole life ahead of him? Why put it into protecting one person? "Lady Lumine!" He stumbled in an attempt to bow. "We've found that all of the wanted criminals in Farfalla have been found and detained. However, one remains." He handed her a sheet of paper, which she quickly found to be a wanted poster. "She blew up a lab. One of the most used labs in Farfalla." She squinted at the photo on the poster, trying to find the focus in what appeared to be a huge pile of rubble, finding it after a moment. Retreating from the ruins was what seemed to be a curvaceous woman around Lumine's own age, short, dark hair. Judging by the red and orange outlines around her, she was a fire spirit of some sort.
Completely ignoring the fact that she was looking at a wanted criminal poster, her gaze went to the guards, he still looked nervous. "Who made these..?" She asked, her nine tails swaying calmly, despite the feeling of frustration building in her chest. "The.. PD? That was the best image we could get." Lumine stared at the photo. "Was she a subject?" She asked, her stare holding coldly to the paper. "Yes Ma'am.. Her name was Gwen. I saw her lab records while I was-" "tell me, young man." She cut the Guard off. "What's your name?" The man seemed stunned for a second, wondering why he was being asked such a question given the subject. "Azurite." He nodded. "I'm a student detective. I have a temporary job as a guard until we find Gwen." Lumine sighed. "A student. So you're not to blame for any of this. Tell me Azurite. Did they have a photo of the woman's face in her records?" Azurite looked down, his cold blue eyes thinking. "Yes, they did. They had a photo of her face to her hips." Lumine sighed with relief. "What great circumstances." She dropped the paper on the ground, stepping on it. "Tell them to use that photo instead. The photo currently on the poster is almost completely black. And if I see one more of those posters made after today, someone is losing their job." Azurite nodded, writing Lumine's command on a notepad. "Thank you, M'lady.. hey.. would you mind signing this? They really don't listen to anything I say and I feel like they won't believe me.." Lumine stared for a moment, and nodded, almost a shamed of who had been put in charge of a job to make everyone feel safe and respected.
She signed the notepad under where he'd written the commands.
'Use photo of Gwen off her lab record. Any poster made with the picture currently used will result in loss of someone's job.' She handed it back to him. "Thank you, M'lady." "Only doing my job.. run along now. I have business to attend to."
