Blood-shed

Chapter 2: Reality

The first thing I saw when I snapped back to reality was my best friend Hero on top of me. Giving me CPR (Mouth to Mouth). ;-;. I was in a state of panic, so the first thing I did was slap him, hard.

"Oh my lord! Aura you're finally awake!" Hero exclaimed as he hugged me tight. I didn't want to make things awkward so I just ignored what happened earlier.

"What happened?" I asked pushing Hero away.

"Well we ran away from ya know... home... and erm we somehow found our way to this farm. We saw that golden looking wool and a friggin 'DRAGON. A FIRE BREATHING DRAGON and erm it kinda hit you here and you passed out." Hero explained.

"Where's Selene." I asked, concerned. (Selene's his twin sister, named after the former goddess of the moon) I heard Hero curse under his breath as he stood up.

"I-I don't know.." he whispered. He bit his lip.

"You mean you LEFT her ALONE?! HOW COULD LEAVE HER ALONE?! JUST LIKE THAT?!" I yelled, I looked at his face and saw tears threatening to fall from his eyes, "I-I'm sorry I-I didn't mean to I-"

"No it's, it's ok just, stay here, I-i'll be right back", Hero sighed with a heavy breath.

He ran off in a western direction. I stood up attempting to run after him, fortunately my body felt  strong and healthy. But before I could even run off, Hero ran back carrying Selene's unconscious body. He laid her down on the floor, he started crying over her body.

"What, what should we do?" He sobbed.

"I-I I don't.." I started', choking back a sob, I looked around hoping someone would be able to help & that's when I noticed the farm on the top of the hill. Without another word I gestured to the farmhouse. Hero's face lit up. He carried Selene in his arms and we both quietly sneaked in. We were both exhausted and in no mood to run, so we both just quietly walked up the hill.

We were only a couple yards away from the farm-house when a young, tall and ugly girl ran up to us and grabbed me by my collar. Before she could say anything I kicked her in the stomach, grabbed Hero's hand and started running. When we finally arrived at the footsteps of the 'farmhouse' I felt more than confused... the farm-house wasn't a farmhouse it looked more like a summer club... There were at least a HUNDRED cabins and arenas for battle (?) and a lot of other summer club areas! Hero was just as bewildered as I was. This wasn't what I saw a couple minutes ago..

We must've been standing there for a while because the same ugly girl caught up to us. She kicked Selene out of Hero's hands. Hero was just as stunned and furious as I was. I didn't just stand there after I watched Selene's unconscious body crash to the floor. I took action and ran to the girl before she could do more damage. Although I was fast and strong, my self-taught training was nothing compared to this girl. She was fast, much faster than me. Although I managed to dodge her attacks for quite a while I still lost in the end...

The tall ugly girl punched me in my stomach and I fell to the floor. My head was throbbing; it felt like being poisoned. How strong was she?
